Chapter Text
3:18 A.M. - Avengers Tower
A hand rests on your shoulder and words you cant decipher are coming from Yelena.
“Wake up, Y/N we’re here,” Her accent shows through but her voice is still soft.
A quick yawn and a sigh hum out of you and your eyes open to a slit.
“Morning, Lena,” You smile.
“Hi,” She sighs.
You finally bring yourself to stand and walk to your room. Yelena follows behind you.
“You wanna stay with me tonight?” You turn to a smiling Yelena, who’s leaning against your doorway.
She shrugs. “Do you want me to?”
“God yes,” You sigh, pulling off your uniform only to throw on a slightly oversized t-shirt.
“Do you have anything to sleep in, love?” You ask Yelena.
She shrugs again. “Not really,”
You grab another shirt and toss it to her.
You both finally settle in, as Yelena holds you close.
It truly amazed you how Yelena was such a hardcore assassin, strong, tough, and not at all soft while on a job. But when she finally settled with you, she softened drastically. Her features and shoulders relaxed, and her breath slowed.
Your head was pressed against her chest, and you could hear her heartbeat slowed as she drifted to sleep. You had taken short naps all day, but Yelena hadn’t. Her chest rose and settled with every breath and it soothed you to sleep fairly quickly.
