She looked at her tiny, plump, childlike figure in the big, glittering mirror of her beloved omega father
She still couldn't believe it
She touched her thin short dark green almost black hair tied with two bows in two very small ponytails with a fringe that covered her broad forehead different from her bordeaux hair, she touched her plump and rosy cheeks that were not like her old pale cheeks without flesh
She looked at her eyes reflected in the mirror. They were no longer an ash yellow, but were emerald green, a bright green adorned with very long lashes
She still couldn't believe that she had been reincarnated, that she was in a brand new, healthy body
—I knew it could happen, I knew it!— She smiled with her thin peach lips with her eyes shining like two stars in a night sky
But the surprises didn't end there, because not only had she reincarnated, but she had reincarnated as…
—Sol? What are you doing in my room— Said a person looking out of the door of his room. He had dark green hair that seemed to be approaching black, pale and fleshy cheeks and aqua green eyes different from his but still adorned with long eyelashes
The little girl seeing him gets excited and runs into his arms, the boy takes her and the little girl rubs herself on his neck smelling the comforting smell of sea salt, seaweed, pine wood and mint that reminded him of the ocean and the winter of his omega father
—I was just looking at myself, dad!— The girl said, hugging her father from the neck with her short arms. The omega smiled genuinely and ruffled his hair
—Get ready, we're going out— The boy let go of the little girl who, like a bolt of lightning, ran to her room, stumbling several times
She was reincarnated as the daughter of her greatest idol, Itoshi Rin! She didn't even think it was possible since they said that he's a beta, but there she is, she exists
She pinched her chubby cheeks to see if it was a dream, she was four years old now and yet she still couldn't believe it, if someone had told her that she would become Itoshi Rin's daughter she would have said that it would be something crazy and impossible, but now she finds herself dressing in clothes bought by him and then going out accompanied by him
—Daddy, daddy! Pick me up!— Said the little girl stretching out her arms, waiting for her omega father to take her into his comforting arms. She clung to him like a koala exhaling his comforting pheromones feeling his warmth that made her feel safe, was this how babies felt in the arms of their omega parents?
If that wasn't heaven, then she didn't know what was
—Sol, do you want to walk?— Said the omega, but the little girl denied it and he sighed. He took his bag on his shoulder and a small ball in his hand
—Daddy, I love you so much— Said the little girl in his arms who seemed about to fall asleep in his warmth. Rin swallowed, he was moved even if the little girl always told him that, but...
He stroked her hair
—Nii-chan, I love you so much!— Rin wasn't bipolar, he knew he wasn't bipolar and he wasn't even emotional, yet he felt a lump in his throat
He saw the little girl who was now resting blissfully in his arms who was having peaceful dreams, the world was cruel and he didn't want that cruelty to contaminate her. He didn't want everything that had happened to him to happen to her. His little girl smiled in her sleep, he hoped he could protect that smile
Rin sat on the bench, putting down his bag and the ball, he looked up at the sky, there was so much sun
—Sol, baby? Wake up, we're here— The little girl woke up, and seeing that they had arrived at the park, she jumped from his arms and taking the ball went to kick it in the field
Michiko, no, Sol, she could finally do everything she couldn't do in her old life; run, run with the wind blowing her hair, kicking the ball without worrying about getting hurt because she knew she would get up again to continue
She was finally free without the chains of her illness holding her prisoner and as a bonus given by life she had her idol as a parent, what more could she wish for?
She was grateful to the one who was in the other who had given her this opportunity to live life to the fullest
—Daddy! Look at me kicking the ball! — She said kicking the ball and then scoring it in the goal, she too would become a prodigy, a soccer genius, as she had always dreamed and nothing and no one would stop her
Rin looked at his little girl who was running around the field like a hyperactive monster kicking the ball, she reminded him of a little girl version of Bachira, that guy with the bob cut who was now in Spain
Spain...that country that had taken away everything he had
His brother, his sanity, his dreams, his dignity, all taken and thrown to the ground to be trampled on
He only had Sol left and...
Someone from behind covered his eyes, his hands were warm
—Uncle Nanase!— The little girl said as she watched the smiling man cover her father's eyes. She, stumbling a little, ran towards them
—Hello Sol! Hello Rin!— He sat down on the bench next to Rin. The omega looked at him, he hadn't changed a bit, maybe he had grown a little taller reaching him, but his beaming smile and his blue eyes full of kindness
—What are you doing here in Bangkok, you weren't supposed to be in Paris— Rin said looking at the beta
—Will you stay with us? Please say so!—Sol said, she loved Nanase (after Rin of course) and she always knew he was a good guy and when she met him she found out she was right, so far she only met him since he helped the two of them a lot. Nanase was so sweet to they two
—Well, Rin has to decide— Nanase said ruffling the little girl's hair, he looked straight into the aquamarine eyes that had lost the coldness he knew leaving a hint of sweetness and another feeling that for him remained an enigma
Sol's big, bright green eyes looked up at her father, who sighed and nodded. She happily returned to the court with her dirty ball
—Loki is still asking about you, he's insisting that you return to the field— Nanase said after a while of silence, Loki was pestering him and now that Shidou had left PXG for the Royal Madrid, Loki was asking even more about Rin. If the two aces of PXG left the team, it would be the end of them
—Before he didn't care about anyone except Charles and now he magically asks about me, now that he needs me. How lukewarm of him— Nanase had to admit with what Rin told him, Loki could be a good trainer...but you could tell they were just tools to help him improve Charles, that little blond French alpha who was now interested in the Ubers' omega, Niko, if he wasn't mistaken
—Sol is growing up...— Nanase said looking at the little boy who was playing with other boys with his ball. She seemed to be winning compared to those children
—You're right...time passes— Rin smiled sweetly as he looked at the little girl who cheered for having won
—Sol seems to have softened you— Nanase couldn't help but notice how Rin seemed to have matured since the last time she had seen him. He no longer had that murderous look that saw everyone as an enemy, he no longer had that stoic face that sometimes made grimaces of anger, he had changed, he had grown and matured; his eyes were softer and more loving like a mother who was worried about her child, a tired expression with his lips that had a very small smile. He was now 22 years old and was already a parent of a 4 year old girl
Nanase found him as beautiful as ever, for him he hadn't changed at all because he knew that even before he had a soft side that he is only showing now
Rin, for him, will remain the ruler of his heart. The one who could make him feel emotions he had never felt before, the one who made his heart beat in an inhuman way
—What do you know about the others?— Rin said, he had been there in Thailand for four years away from football, he didn't know what was going on out there
—Shidou refused Ajax's offer to join Royal Madrid— Rin wrinkled his nose, making his smell sour, he had always hated that fizzy-smelling omega and he knew very well why he had chosen to go to the Spanish team, he knew it all too well
—Daddy, is everything okay? — Said the little girl, stopping because she had perceived the omega's disturbance
—Yes, calm down, go back to playing— Sol was shocked, but did as she was told and chased after the boy who had stolen her ball
—Otoya finally asked Karasu to marry him and Charles got the approval to court Niko Ikki— Rin remembered all the talks the beta had with the neo who was trying to understand if the alpha with the green lock was in love with him or not and he also remembered how Charles was interested in the Ubers omega only that the interest didn't seem mutual, at least until now
—Finally, I could say. I was fed up with his babble, so lukewarm and pathetic. And Isagi? What happened to him— Nanase remembered the short alpha
—They say that in a few years he will become the number 1 striker in the world...— Rin knew it, he knew he would become it, even though he denied it, it was inevitable. He sighed, he didn't care about that title anymore, it was something that no longer interested him, if he had to be honest. Now he's making his own life, living the consequences of what had happened and so now he didn't care much
Nanase watched the wind ruffle his hair that had grown a little longer. He was as beautiful as ever, he wondered if he had any hope with him or if he would take his heart and use his words as sharp as daggers and break it
But he didn't even care, Rin was simply a majestic and divine being compared to him, who was simply a pathetic being who kissed the ground he walked on. He didn't deserve someone as pure as Rin, he couldn't contaminate him with his dirty hands
Yet he hoped, he would just observe his shining beauty
—It's getting late, we should go home. Where are you staying?— Rin asked after looking at her little girl
—In a hotel I found— Rin took out a bottle from his bag
—Sol would be happy if you came to our house— Nanase nodded, he would be happy too
