Chapter Text

The Hyūga compound had never looked so breathtaking.

Silk banners in soft lavender and pristine white flowed from the rooftops, embroidered with the Hyūga crest in silver thread and the Uchiha fan in deep crimson. Lanterns lined the long stone pathways, glowing like floating stars, and every courtyard had been transformed with cascading wisteria, blooming hydrangeas, and rare white peonies imported specifically for the event.

The Hyūga clan did not do subtle celebrations—and for the first wedding in the main house in generations, they spared absolutely no expense. This was a display of status, legacy, and pride. And of course… love.

Dozens of clan members, guests, dignitaries, and allies filled the compound, the quiet elegance of the Hyūga aesthetic blending surprisingly well with the darker Uchiha motifs placed throughout the venue—black and red accents, lotus-shaped candles, and flame patterns woven discreetly into the décor.

Guests whispered among themselves, awed.

Sasuke stood tall at the front of the ceremonial hall, wearing traditional Uchiha formal wear—deep black with red accents, beautifully tailored, with a white sash tied at his waist. His hair was slightly neater than usual, though a few rebellious strands framed his face.

He looked calm.

But Naruto, standing beside him as his best man, leaned in and whispered loudly, “You’re nervous, aren’t you?”

Sasuke gave him a sidelong glance. “No.”

Naruto grinned. “Liar. You haven’t blinked in two minutes.”

Sasuke exhaled slowly through his nose. “Naruto.”

The Rookie Nine and their mentors filled the front rows, dressed in their best clothes. Kurenai had tears in her eyes already. Tenten was holding a bouquet she wasn’t supposed to be touching yet. Ino was complaining she didn’t get to design the flower arrangements. Shikamaru was muttering something about how “marriage is a drag but this setup is impressive.”

Even the Hokage sat alongside Hiashi, both wearing ceremonial robes.

Hiashi appeared composed as ever, but the faint upward curve at his lips betrayed the pride he refused to show too openly.

Inside her preparation room, Hinata stood before a large mirror, her breath soft and trembling with emotion. She wore a traditional white uchikake kimono, embroidered with cranes, moonflowers, and the Hyūga clan’s sigil in silver thread. A soft lavender obi wrapped around her waist, matching the gentle glow in her eyes.

Her hair was styled elegantly, with a white camellia tucked behind her ear and a faint dusting of shimmer at her cheeks. She looked ethereal—like a bride drawn from a legend.

Hanabi stood behind her, placing the finishing touches with a proud, soft smile. “Father will cry,” she said.

“He won’t…” Hinata flushed.

“He will,” Hanabi insisted. “And honestly? He should.”

Outside, she could already hear the distant murmurs of guests gathering—friends, mentors, shinobi, clan heads, ANBU guards, and even the Hokage himself. It was overwhelming… but in the soft flutter of her heart, one emotion rose above all:

Happiness.

Sasuke was waiting for her.

As the guests settled in rows circling the ceremonial platform, Hiashi Hyūga stood proudly at the front, dressed in immaculate traditional robes. The air was thick with incense and the soft sound of koto music drifting through the courtyard.

Then— A hush fell.

Hinata appeared.

Walking along a petal-strewn pathway, accompanied by her father, she stepped forward with gentle grace, her eyes shy but glowing brighter than any lantern. Gasps rippled through the crowd—she was breathtaking.

Sasuke’s expression softened in a way only she could draw from him. His eyes followed her every step, the world shrinking to just the space between them.

When Hinata reached him, Hiashi handed her gently into Sasuke’s waiting hands.

“She is my heart,” Hiashi said quietly, voice filled with meaning. “Take care of her.”

Sasuke bowed respectfully. “Always.”

Hiashi stepped forward, voice low and steady as he addressed both clans.

“Today,” he began, “we unite not only two exceptional shinobi, but two clans with long histories. The Hyūga and the Uchiha stand together in peace, strength, and hope for the next generation.”

Sasuke offered his hand. Hinata placed hers in his gently.

They turned to face each other.

The vows were simple—Hyūga tradition favored sincerity over theatrics.

Hinata’s voice trembled slightly. “Sasuke-kun… I will walk with you through every darkness and every light. You are my strength…and my heart.”

Sasuke held her hand more firmly, his voice steady, low, and soft enough that only she and those closest could hear. “Hinata…you are the first person who ever saw me as something more than my scars. I will protect you… and the life we build together. Always.”

A collective sigh passed through the hall like a warm breeze.

When Hiashi finally said, “You may seal your vows,” Sasuke stepped forward, cupping Hinata’s cheek with gentle confidence.

He leaned in—slow, deliberate—and kissed her softly, reverently.

The courtyard erupted in applause. The Hyūga clan nodded in approval. The Rookie Nine cheered obnoxiously. Hanabi cried proudly. And Hiashi… smiled. A rare, warm, fatherly smile.

It was a grand wedding—magnificent, elegant, unforgettable— but in that single moment, everything felt intimate and perfect.

Uchiha Sasuke and Hyūga Hinata were officially husband and wife.

The banquet was overwhelming in size. Long tables overflowed with food—delicacies from across the elemental nations, rare teas, aged sake, and desserts so intricate even Ino gasped.

Musicians played soft romantic pieces as guests mingled. Clan members congratulated the couple. The Rookie Nine clinked glasses and made loud toasts. Even the Hokage laughed, sipping sake with Hiashi.

Sasuke remained close to Hinata, hand around her waist, quiet but softening each time she smiled.

Hinata glowed—radiant, blissful, loved.

And with the lanterns drifting into the night sky, floating like amber stars, the Hyūga and Uchiha together declared the night a celebration not only of a wedding…

…but of a new beginning.

The Uchiha home—once quiet, orderly, almost too still—was now filled with shrieks of laughter, tiny footsteps, and the chaotic joy that only toddlers could bring.

The late afternoon sun spilled through the windows, casting golden light across the wooden floors… just bright enough to highlight the muddy footprints trailing through nearly every room.

“Oh no you don’t! You two are not escaping bath time again!” Hinata called, breathless but laughing as she darted through the hallway.

Two-year-old Hikari—their daughter—squealed with pure delight, her tiny obsidian eyes sparkling as she bolted across the dining room. Her soft midnight-blue hair, tied into two messy mini-pigtails, swayed wildly as she ran.

“NOOOO BAFF!” she declared at the top of her lungs.

Hinata tried to catch her, but Hikari expertly swerved around a chair leg at the last second, giggling.

In the living room, the other half of the chaos was unfolding.

Sasuke stood in the center of the room, sleeves rolled up, jaw set in the determined scowl he used to reserve for enemy shinobi. Now he uses it on his son.

Little Itaru, their son—the perfect fusion of black hair and pale Hyūga eyes—was sprinting around the couch in endless laps, his small legs pumping as fast as they could go.

He looked over his shoulder, saw Sasuke gaining on him, and shrieked with mischievous pride.

“TOO SLOW, PAPA!”

Sasuke’s eyebrow twitched. “You’re mocking me now?”

Itaru giggled. “YES!”

Sasuke lunged over the couch with shinobi efficiency—only for Itaru to skid under the coffee table and escape again.

Hinata called from the dining room, still trying to corner Hikari, “Sasuke-kun! Don’t use ninja tricks on them!”

“They’re using ninja tricks on me,” he replied flatly, watching Itaru scramble away like a mud-covered wild animal.

“HAHAHA! PAPA CAN’T CATCH ME!” Itaru taunted, darting around the couch again.

Sasuke activated one tomoe of his Sharingan—not enough to scare, just enough to track the little blur.

Hinata gasped. “Sasuke-kun! No dōjutsu in the house!”

He sighed, deactivated it, and muttered, “They’re getting faster.”

“WE CAN HEAR YOU!” Hikari yelled from across the house before crashing into a cabinet, bouncing off, and continuing to run as if nothing happened.

Hinata finally managed to scoop her up mid-giggle, lifting her high. “Got you!”

Hikari kicked her legs. “NOOOO! I CLEAN! I CLEAN WIF DIRT!”

Hinata laughed helplessly. “That’s not how that works, sweetie.”

Meanwhile, Sasuke made another move—cutting Itaru off as the boy tried to sprint past him again. With a swift, practiced motion, he scooped the toddler up under one arm like a tiny squirming potato.

Itaru screeched but laughed hysterically. “I FLYYYY!!”

Sasuke smirked. “Caught you.”

Hinata walked in carrying Hikari, both of them flushed from laughing. “I think they had too much fun today.”

Sasuke glanced at the streaks of mud in Itaru’s hair and the blades of grass stuck to his daughter’s clothing. “Understatement.”

The two toddlers, now in their parents’ arms, exchanged a look. A devious one.

Hinata’s eyes widened. “Sasuke-kun…”

Before she could finish, both children suddenly twisted like slippery eels, trying to escape again.

“ONE MORE RUN!!” Hikari howled.

“NO BATH!!” Itaru echoed.

Sasuke tightened his hold. “Oh no you don’t—”

Hinata mirrored him perfectly, gripping Hikari before she could wiggle free.

And then, as the two wriggling toddlers began laughing uncontrollably, their parents met each other’s eyes…

…and burst into laughter too.

Their life was noisy. Messy. Chaotic.

But full—so full—of love.

“Ready?” Hinata asked, shifting Hikari to her hip.

Sasuke adjusted his grip on Itaru. “Let’s get them clean before they destroy the house.”

Together, still smiling, the four of them headed toward the bathroom—

“This is the last time I’m going to let Naruto babysit for the afternoon.” Sasuke sighed.

“We should tell him not to give them so many sweets before dinner time.” Hinata giggled.

Their children thrashing, pouting, and giggling the entire way.

Bath time had been its usual battlefield—splashing, whining, water everywhere except where it was supposed to be. Pajamas took another fifteen minutes because Hikari refused to wear the pink set (“BLUE ONLY!”) and Itaru insisted on putting his shirt on upside down… twice.

But now, at last, their home was quiet.

Two little bodies were finally asleep—Hikari curled like a kitten on her side, clutching a stuffed fox, and Itaru starfished across his pillow with one tiny leg dangling off the bed.

Hinata gently covered them both with a blanket. “Sleep well, my loves,” she whispered, brushing their hair back with soft fingers.

Sasuke stood by the doorway, arms crossed, watching them with a quiet warmth he showed only to three people in the world—his wife and his children.

When Hinata stepped out of their room, closing the door with a soft click, she exhaled with a tired but glowing smile.

Sasuke lifted a brow. “Battle survived?”

She laughed softly. “Barely.”

They walked together down the hallway, dimly lit by lanterns, the hum of nighttime crickets drifting in from the garden. Sasuke’s hand brushed hers—and she intertwined their fingers without hesitation.

Once inside their bedroom, Sasuke loosened his shoulders and let out the deep breath he’d been holding all day.

Hinata giggled. “You look exhausted.”

He shot her a dry look. “Your son nearly broke the lamp again.”

Hinata poked his chest lightly. “Our son.”

“Mn.”

“That means he gets it from you,” she teased.

Sasuke sighed dramatically, dropping onto the bed. “Unfortunately.”

Hinata sat beside him, leaning her head on his shoulder. In the quiet of their room, the faint scent of lavender from her hair filled the air—the same scent she wore back when they first fell in love.

Sasuke slid an arm around her waist, pulling her closer until she rested fully against him. His voice softened. “They’re getting bigger.”

“I know,” she whispered, almost wistful. “Too fast.”

Hinata hesitated for a moment, her fingers lightly tracing circles on his chest. “Sasuke…can I ask you something?”

He opened his eyes fully now, sensing the seriousness beneath her timid tone. “Go on.”

“Would you…” She swallowed, cheeks tinting pink. “Would you like more children someday?”

Sasuke blinked, taken aback—not by the question itself, but by the tone she used. Soft. Careful. Almost… testing him.

He reached up, brushing a strand of her hair behind her ear. “Of course,” he answered without hesitation. “I’d like as many as you want.”

But then his brows drew together. Suspicion flickered in his dark eyes.

“…Hinata.”

She froze.

Sasuke narrowed his gaze slightly, leaning in. “Why are you asking me that now?”

Her blush deepened, warm and rosy across her cheeks. She looked down for a moment, fingers curling into his shirt.

“Sasuke-kun… because…” A shy smile slowly lifted her lips. “…I’m three weeks pregnant.”

Everything in Sasuke stilled. His breath hitched—just barely.

“H-How long have you known?” he asked, voice strangely quiet.

“I confirmed it this morning,” she whispered, fiddling with the hem of his sleeve. “I wanted to tell you after the children fell asleep.”

Sasuke stared at her. Not in confusion. Not in panic. But in awe. Pure, stunned awe.

Slowly, almost reverently, he placed his hand over her stomach. “Three weeks,” he murmured, voice barely above a breath.

Hinata nodded softly. “Three weeks.”

And then—Sasuke’s expression melted.

A rare, genuine smile touched his lips. Gentle. Bright. Unguarded.

“Hn.” He pulled her closer, resting his forehead against hers. “You’re really giving me another child.”

Hinata shook her head gently, placing his hand over her belly.

“Not a child…” She smiled, eyes shining. “Children. Another set of twins.”

For a moment, Sasuke just stared, Sharingan-sharp focus completely obliterated by pure, unfiltered joy. Then—

“Hinata…” His voice cracked.

He didn’t wait another second. Sasuke pulled her into his arms, kissing her with so much passion and relief that Hinata giggled between breaths, clinging to his shoulders as he rained kisses across her cheeks, her nose, her lips.

“Another two… another two, Hinata—” he murmured against her mouth, almost dizzy with happiness. “You’re really… we’re really—”

“Yes,” she laughed, cupping his face. “We’re really having two more.”

Sasuke kissed her again—deeper this time, enthusiastic enough that Hinata had to put a steadying hand to his chest.

“Sasuke—” she managed, breathless and blushing. “At this rate… if you keep going like this…” She poked his forehead teasingly.

“I’ll be pregnant again before I even give birth to these two.”

Sasuke smirked, leaning his forehead against hers.

“I don’t see the problem.”

Hinata squeaked, face going bright red.

And Sasuke just pulled her into one more kiss—gentle, reverent, overflowing with everything he felt for her and their growing family.

A perfect little Uchiha–Hyūga family.
