Chapter Text
You returned to the table/grave and sat back down at your seat.
"There you are! Did you have fun playing with mushrooms in the dark?" asked Maggy.
"Yes, but I'm back now," you told them. "I am sorry about the wait, but thank you for indulging my exploration."
"You'll be able to explore even more soon enough… once you find the key to the upstairs," said Grimora. "But for now, let's actually get started on the game, shall we?"

"Right now, all our characters are located in the entrance hall of the manor," Grimora explained. "During our turns, we can explore the manor and move as many spaces as equal to our speed. Finn, your speed is 6, so you can move up to 6 spaces per turn. If you go through a door that doesn't have anything on the other side, then you draw an appropriate tile to place in that spot and then enter that new room. If a room that you enter has an event, item, or omen in it, you get the item/omen/event and your turn immediately ends. The grand staircase connects to the upper landing in the second floor of the manner, and the foyer connects to the basement landing… though you can only open the basement landing from inside the basement."
"Really? Then how do you get to the basement?" you asked.
"You'll see," Grimora said, wiggling her eyebrows. "Since it's your first time playing we'll have you go first, Finn. Where would you like your character (the red token) to move?"
>To a room on the second floor
"You went to a random room on the second floor and find yourself at… The Tower! In order to pass through this room, you have to make a might roll of +3. If you fail, you stop moving," Grimora narrated as your piece moved.

"And you get an event as well! Let's see what it is…"
Arousing moans…
In the distance, you hear what sounds like a woman screaming. No, not screaming… moaning. Crying out in ecstasy! You weren't sure what she was doing, or what might be happening to her, but it sounded like she was having the time of her life!
But… this place is abandoned, right? There shouldn't be anyone in this place, let alone orgasming their brains out.
Roll 6 dice - if you roll more or equal to the number of omens that have been revealed, gain 1 point of sanity. If not, take 1 dice of mental damage.
0 omens have been discovered so this roll is literally impossible to fail. So, we gain +1 points in sanity!
"I don't know who you are, but you do you, girlfriend! Keep having fun!" your character shouted into the night.
"Sweet! I'm going super sane!" you said as you bumped your sanity up.

"Looks like RNG really saved you this time" said P03. "Later on in the game that role could have been very easy to fail."
"I doubt we'll all have such good fortune, unfortunately," said Leshy. "Now it's my turn…"
Leshy moved her character to the left of the entrance, and she immediately found herself in… room covered from top to bottom in semen!?

Goodness, the stench was almost unbearable… what happened in here? Leshy almost didn't want to know but, hidden among the massive pools of still-moist spunk, she managed to find something useful…

A candle, similar to the one that you were still holding in real life. With this, she gets an additional die when rolling for events.
"… I don't think that I would trust a candle found in a room like this, but beggars can't be choosers," said Leshy. "Your turn, P03."
"I would go upstairs, but unfortunately my character is pretty slow," said Princess Bubblegum The Third. "So, I'll just go here instead."
She moved to a new room on the ground floor, on the other side of the entrance hall, and found her character in… a romantic restaurant!

It was oddly pristine, though there didn't seem to be any people here. Who set this up, and for what purpose? And why was there a condom provided with every napkin?
Wait, what's this…?
It's the Jumpty Dumpty Bomb! Our first omen, and a powerful weapon! Don't worry, it doesn't actually maim or injure… it's effects are much more 'sensual' than that.

"Alright, time to make our first haunt roll..." said Grimora. "Basically, we roll 6 dice, and if we get less than the number of revealed omens then the haunt begins. Let's get rolling…"
"And the results… a heck of a lot more than 1," Grimora declared. "Such a shame, I was looking forward to seeing the damage the 'Mad Love Bomber' can do. Your turn, Maggy."

"I think I'll explore the ground floor too, since that seems so popular," Magnificus declared as she moved her character through the foyer, through a dusty hallway, and then to an… organ room!

The event was… sudden shift! Maggy's character suddenly finds herself someplace completely different in the manor, though, she was still in the organ room. It was almost as if the house shifted or changed somehow…

"Well, that was pointless," said P03. "You just went from one side of the hallway to the other."
"Yes, but I did so magically," said Maggy.
"Magic isn't real, not even in this game," P03 insisted. "Now, it's your turn Grimora - let's see what horrors you'll run into."
"I think I'll go upstairs, so Finn doesn't get too lonely," the vampire said flirtatiously as she moved her character upstairs. Once there, she wound up in… the library! Once per game, if a character ends their turn there, they gain +1 knowledge! And since Grimora is ending her turn there because of the event, she gains +1 knowledge!

And for the event…
Grimora's character could hear something buzzing. It wasn't quite a bee, but it wasn't a phone either… it was something else… where is it coming from!?
Rolling a knowledge roll to try and find the source, need at least a 4…
Grimora rolls with 4 dice since her Knowledge is now 4, and she gets… 6! She manages to find the source of the buzzing, and a free item!

Grimora rolls with 4 dice since her Knowledge is now 4, and she gets… 6! She manages to find the source of the buzzing, and a free item!

The item it seems is a bottle of a strange black liquid… possibly harmful, but also possibly helpful.

She also finds the source of the buzzing, which was… a bead vibrator, still vibrating and still wet. Whoever lost this must be really missing it right about now.
"Personally, I prefer my strange liquids red, but I'll take it," Grimora said with a shrug. "Alright, since we've gone around the tomb once, it's time for you to make a decision that will effect how things are going in the real world, Finn. You chose Octavia to try and romance earlier, didn't you? Well, now you get to decide how that starts off, and we get to see the results together. Be careful, because the events of the game can sometimes effects what happens in the real world and vice-versa… but I wouldn't worry about it too much. Just choose what you think is the best choice!"
How do we start down the path of romancing Octavia?
>She wants to spend time with Cerberus (and uses that as an excuse to spend time with you too)
