She was told that mediums like her were often employed to minimize the amount of time demons and angels had to spend on Earth, but she was very aware this was also a way for the Powers that Be to conceal their dangerous mistake without outright killing her to hide the evidence. Which she was very grateful for.
It was, she realized in time, a very neat transplant for her resume.
