Summary
Marinette and Ladybug are one and the same. No matter what happens, she is always helping people, regardless of the form she takes. However, with time and kindness comes expectation, and it can be easy to miss just how much good she does or overlook what she's accomplished, especially with the current conflict regarding Lila. But no matter what happens, people can take solace in the fact that she'll still be there.
At least until there's a battle against an akuma with the power to erase people and Ladybug is hit.
Fortunately, Ladybug remains standing tall and ever present.
But the "Everyday Ladybug" isn't.

Sasuke was what many would call a prodigy and far above his peers in all categories. To him, the idea of a boy two years his junior being in his class was ridiculous. That boy being dead-last and barely passing in all subjects did help him think little of him. Then came Taijutsu practice and Sasuke found himself beaten before he could even tell what was going on. That, as they say, was the beginning of a beautiful friendship.

Danny didn't quite mean for it to happen, but here he was. Standing outside of Lex Luther's office. For a job interview. Ancients, Sam would have his- no, not the time to think about that, Danny.
Danny, how did this happen? Danny, why are you working for Lex Luthor? Danny, why are you doing this willingly?
All valid questions. After all, this was Lex Luthor. Mr “I hate Superman the Sunshine hero” himself. Funnily enough, that's sort of how this started.

"I can't be a hero," Izuku said firmly, subconsciously punching a purse snatcher that passed by him. "I don't have a quirk."
All Might squinted. "Are you sure?"

Midoriya Izuku gave up his dream of becoming a hero a long time ago, and not long after, realized how corrupted society was. In a world where quirks were the basis of everything, he didn't stand a chance, instead opting to provide for his mom and live a normal life.
Now, if only everybody would stop pestering him to be a hero!
Or:
Aizawa was concerned for this new Problem Child who accidentally apprehended villains
Toshinori kept getting rejected like a school girl with a crush
Tsukauchi wanted less paperwork
Bakugou wanted the shitty nerd to become a hero
And Izuku just wanted to get a job -

Summary
Midoriya Izuku goes missing as a child. No villain is ever held accountable, no one ever brings his mother any answers. For ten years, the only people who remember the quiet, Quirkless boy are Inko and Bakugo Katsuki. They both feel his loss in different, inexplicable ways.
Eraserhead's been on the hunt for an elusive villain only known by the press as 'Ghost'. No fingerprints, blood, or evidence of any kind can ever be found at the scene of the crimes. All of the villain's cases inevitably run cold.
Izuku wishes he'd been born Quirkless after all. Maybe then, he could've believed in heroes. Maybe then, he could've turned into someone good.
