Summary
The man shakes his head. “I haven’t.” Nervous hands pull at monkish robes, no doubt uncomfortably hot in this environment. “So glad to meet you. To meet anyone else, honestly.” He sticks out the wrong hand, eager for politeness but not quite properly educated on how to go about it. Almost endearing. “I’m Peter.”
That is one distinctly human name for someone quite so purple. “Can’t quite remember my name, if I’m being honest. Hoping that’s just a consequence of…” He directs one clawed finger to point at his eye. “Did you wind up with one of those little worms in your eye as well?”
“Tadpole.” Peter immediately corrects, which is annoying. “But yeah, I did.” He bows his upper half forward just a tad, tilting his head. “I don’t think that memory loss is a normal symptom, but maybe the psionic energy of the ship is just messing with you…?”

An Abyssal tiefling with amnesia and a half-drow with a Lolthite artifact strapped to his chest wake aboard an Illithid nautiloid. One of them thinks about murdering the other a normal amount.

Summary
Way back when—as in, before Norman Osborn died and Harry took over the company; as in, before Ben Parker died and Peter shouldered the blame, the guilt, and, of course, the responsibility that is being Spider-Man; as in, before Mary and Richard Parker’s plane went down, when Peter still had his parents around to teach him how to brush his teeth and make his bed—back before all that, Peter and Harry met.
Sometime after—as in, after Ben Parker’s death and Spider-Man’s creation; as in, after Norman Osborn succumbs to his illness and Harry shoulders the weight of it; as in, after Gwen dies and Peter can’t find it in himself to blame Harry for it because he let both of them down—the two of them meet again.
(peter helps create a cure for harry after everything went wrong. harry wants to be peter’s friend again and peter wants to never acknowledge the fact that he’s spider-man and neither of them know how to fix the broken mess left between them.
but they’re going to try, dammit. they’re going to try.)

Peter softens. “I’ll always know you, Harry. No matter what’s happened between us.”
“That’s not it.” He bites the inside of his cheek and waits for a metallic taste to burn through him. “God, my father was wrong. I’m more like him than he thought. Greedy. I want more than I should, more than I deserve.”
Confusion flits across Peter’s handsome features. “What are you…”
“I want you to say I love you and mean it,” Harry whispers, “the way I do.”
On his deathbed, Harry commits one last selfish and utterly evil act—a love confession. Only, he survives, Peter stays, and the two are left grasping at a daze of memories, domestic life, and the impossible question of what lies for them next.
