Spending a bit too much time staring at the nutritional values of meals in the supermarket. But, it had never been like this. Never something so physical.

He and Phoenix had retired to bed early, taking advantage of the lack of cases and various drop-ins from friends and family that usually occurred this time of year.
Once in the bedroom, Phoenix had practically tackled him to the bed, wrapping around him like an extremely determined octopus.
Phoenix had his head in the crook of Miles’ neck and an arm across his torso. He’d slotted their legs together in such a way it was hard to tell where one ended and the other began under the blankets. It was perfect.
