Zagreus was, to put it mildly, angry with his father. They were having another argument about renovations. Hades, for some reason, had decided to completely restore everything, down to the last detail, while Zagreus believed that much needed to be changed even before the war, and that since the opportunity presented itself, it was worth doing. During their argument, his father declared that, unlike his son, he had always obeyed his father, and Zagreus should do the same.
But the man forgot that now, in their house, lived someone who could calmly refute this statement and even say something more.Series

“We were in the throne room with Chronos. Talking about Melinoë’s training.” But saying it, in the throne room with Chronos, triggers another image, somehow sharper. “No. We were with the other Houseservants. Chronos attacked… he froze my mother in time… but why would he…” A bolt of pain shoots through Thanatos’s skull. “Zagreus, what is going on?”
Or, after being freed from his imprisonment in time, Thanatos reunites with the other members of the House and struggles to find his place in a world very different from the one he remembers.

The boy shade Icarus falls in love with a young goddess slowly, and despite himself. He watches as his playful princess friend becomes the living weapon she was trained to be, before his selfish request took part of her away.
After they reconnect in the Rift of Thessaly, his Meli vanishes while fighting a remnant of Chronos, and no one else in the Crossroads seems to be able or willing to look for her. Icarus decides to do something about it, and find her himself. Even if it means venturing deeper into the Underworld than he’d ever dare to go.
