Direct sequel to AIC.
Aiko Uzumaki, seal master with poor judgment and impulse control who has stranded herself dimensions away from home, attempts to get out of the pit she's dug for herself via sacrilege (the death god could stand to be less petty about people stealing from him) by engaging in piety.
As in, she is all-in on a con to pose as a religious figure in the pre-village unification era to build up worship for the dead mother goddess Izanami. By leaning on someone else's power, she does manage to get back to her correct universe. Just, uh, early. How hard can it be to start a cult and worm your way into the upper echelons of feudal society?
...Seriously. Is that gonna be hard?

Byleth has lived the same handful of years over and over again many times.
Most times she sides with the church and just tries to get through the war with as many lives saved as she can, her wife by her side. Sometimes she tries to stay neutral, and ultimately loses everyone she cares for in the process. Once she left it all behind, exploring the outrealms for many years, the ghosts of her past nipping at her heals a constant reminder of her failure to save what mattered most in the end. A handful of times she actually surprised herself by being happy when the war was over and done with.
This time however...
This time, things were shaping up to be... well, a little different.
(Or, that one where Byleth accidentally sends herself back to the beginning, but her future powers and physiology slip through the cracks, among other things. Shenanigans ensue.)
