Obviously, giving earrings to a married woman was highly inadvisable. Especially when said earrings were worth more than most people’s monthly salary. Also, breaking into a Ministry employee’s office to deliver said earrings was a little iffy. To sum up the events of the past twenty-four hours, Draco had made some questionable choices. But when he saw the monstrosities Hermione's husband had given her, he knew he couldn't stand by and do nothing.
