Summary
Tim is five years old when he drowns in his parents' pool. He dies quietly, waiting for parents who love him, but will never be there, to realise that something is wrong. They never show up, and he sinks into oblivion.
When he wakes up and claws his way out of the water, the sun has set, and the lights of his house are on. He is cold and wet and his lungs burn.
But most of all, Tim is alone.

Summary
Balerion has a gift: he can travel across pantheons and between realms to trade souls with other Death Gods, and he and the other Fourteen Flames decide to use this ability to ask for Hades' help in saving their realm from collapse. Hades, fortunately, knows just who to recommend.
Now Percy is no longer in the habit of helping gods, he did that his entire mortal life, so he would like to continue his peaceful life in Elysium with Annabeth, thankyouverymuch. However, when he and Annabeth are summoned to Hades' castle and meet this strange god named Balerion who claims to be from another realm (and says please and thank you?) the duo agree to aid this odd deity.
That is how Percy Jackson finds himself reborn as Aegir Velaryon, the first-born son of Princess Rhaenys Targaryen and Corlys Velaryon. With memories of his past as a demigod, and knowledge of the future he is supposed to prevent, he must navigate his way through this new life. His first mission? Find Annabeth, of course! -
