Uhhh so like in the bronze age there were these huge flourishing civilizations in the eastern mediterranean so like from greece around the bend to egypt and they had a big complex trade network and really complicated art and water management systems and cool infrastructure (i fucking love ancient municipal engineering) and then 3200 years ago the whole shit collapsed and everyone died and it was kind of a disaster which is weird and such a cool opportunity to insert bert and ernie and all their shitty friends anyway it’ll be cool

Summary
A study in misery.
This is a series of vignettes featuring our favourite fine-feathered fools which will follow the narrative to correspond with T.S. Eliot’s “The Waste Land”. Each chapter will focus on a selected excerpt and I will be trapped in this hellish nightmare of bleak imagery and post-apocalyptic banality, constantly clawing at the endless layers of diaphanous film which cloud my view to a less stagnant future. What ABBA was for Mamma Mia, Eliot will now, regrettably, do to you and me. I shall do my best to make it as enjoyable as possible for the both of us while I stretch the boundaries of Good Omens to fit a completely unrelated narrative for no good reason whatsoever, and I’m hoping the turnaround is what’ll make this fun.
