It was Pete’s time travel fortune telling whatever thing, and it brought future Patrick back to 2005! Which, to be fair, was a problem for future Patrick.
Now this is Patrick’s problem, and how ended up at- wherever he is. Whenever he is? Fucking hell, this is the kind of stuff he has to deal with now.
