Tim had spent most of his life in foster care, now attending GSU, he just wanted to get through his Bachelors, live quietly with his cat, Todd, and be grateful every day for endless coffee supplied by his coffee shop job.
At least that was the plan till he came home from a late night shift at said coffee shop to one of Gotham's most notorious vigilantes passed out against his door.
Tim chose to blame his lack of survival skills on not being raised in Gotham and pointedly ignored his cat's judgmental gaze when he dragged the unconscious man inside.
Hopefully, the only trigger happy vigilante in Gotham didn't see fit to point the barrel in Tim's direction.

I'm really torn about how to tag Ed and Izzy's relationship; I see it as sexually charged but I know not everyone will and I don't want to disappoint people coming here for the Ed/Izzy tag.
