Anya wasn't so sure about her job on the Tulpar.
Sure it paid the bills but.. The Captain was nice enough, the co-pilot was a piece of work, the mechanic seemed to want to be anywhere but here, and the intern seemed to be clueless about his place on the Tulpar.
382 days. Then she could be back home on Earth. At least Curly's and Daisuke's friendship made the transit a bit more tolerable.

Summary
When Stan and Ford meet face to face for the first time in nearly a decade, Ford tells his brother that he is the only person in the world he can trust... to never see him ever again. After his brother is sucked into another dimension with Lord knows what kind of time or odds to get back, Stanley takes it upon himself to try and fix the machine and see if he can possibly get his brother back. He is alone in his brother's shack in the woods with no help, no resources, and no one to turn to-- except possibly an unexpected friend to help him begin a journey that will take thirty years to reach the end.
This piece follows Stanley in the days after Ford's disappearance, alone in the shack with nothing but his thoughts, a new friend, and a slowly festering burn on his right shoulder. Memories of childhood, flashbacks, and self deprecation take him on a journey that only he can go on.
