Bio

Hello, hello.
I've never been great at starting things so lets just jump right into this. My pen name is not real. I've gone by Alex Lee, Skyler Scott, Quinn, but none of those are my actual name, so it may well change again in the future. There isn't a particular reason for this habit, nothing safety related or anything, it's just something I do.

Speaking of things I do, I write. The biggest thing to know about me though, is that this is a hobby for me. I have no degree in anything writing related, nor do I have any natural writing talent in of itself. I write to fill a creative void that sometimes opens in my chest, and I'm suborn as hell so I have stuck with it a lot longer than I ever thought I would, despite never finishing any of my story's. That's kind of what makes it fun though. Improving at something you suck at is a rewarding experience. Who knows, maybe one day I might even finish one of my works. I hope it happens.

I first started publishing my work back in High School under the recommendation of a friend. I won't lie, the other reasons was that I really wanted to do something with the hundreds of thousands of words I had written, and maybe try and find people who could help me improve my writing. Publishing my work is not a consistent thing for me, nor am I on a schedule, even if my anxiety tells me otherwise. This isn't for popularity, or attention. It's mostly just so I don't feel like I am wasting hours of my life on something that will never be seen.
