Tabitha was participating in her family’s sins for a long time. She was going to continue the Scarlet legacy even after what happened to Sam, even after getting rid of Pearlanne. Old Gramma Eddie was making sure of it. This woman was a hundred and nine years old, and she still had a strong enough hold on Tabitha that she couldn’t defy her, even if she wanted to.
That’s why Tabitha let Mary, her infuriatingly selfless cousin, take the burden of their family’s sins on herself.

That is, until you decided to contact your long-lost cousin Tabitha. Luckily for you, people in Scarlet Hollow in general seemed strangely nonchalant about all things magic-related.
Unfortunately, you were soon about to find out why exactly that was.
AU where Tabitha reached her Breaking Point before her Cousin ever showed up in Scarlet Hollow. Now the two of them are working together to burn the family legacy to the ground.

I feel like this fic explains Scarlet Hollow better than I have ever seen it explained before. I will not give any other comments (I will give it a rec, though, which is extremely rare from me).

Sam Scarlet can comprehend things almost everyone else can't. However, this knowledge is a curse, as not everything is meant to be known in the first place. They must fight off the misery this knowledge brings them before it destroys them entirely.
This story follows Sam through childhood, adulthood, and the most important week of their life.

I am a sucker for pre-canon fics, and this may very well be the very best of them (although the fic will only be partly pre-canon as the in-game and post-canon sections are added). Reading this was unparalleled by pretty much anything else I've ever done in my life (the vibes were just different from everything else) and it was an incredible experience. Although it is quite long, it is definitely worth the read.
