Back when Verso still believed himself to be just another face in Lumière’s crowd, he was becoming quite impatient with waiting for his soulmate to appear so they could bring colours into each other’s lives. Then, Verso learnt the truth and knew that, in a world where no one was supposed to go through life alone, he was a fake made to exist without anyone to complete his soul.
It’s more than half a century later when fate mocks him again.

He should know that despite good intentions, his sentimentality has never ended well for him.
This becomes even more evident to him as he watches the picto he contained Gustaves chroma in, dissolve into his skin.

I love Harry’s PoV, he’s just done with everything. I also like how this story doesn’t have a lot of bashing in it, it fits canon better that he was happy in his past life and was tragically ripped away from it.
