The same Darshan that requires the knowledge of at least twenty languages, each with its own intricacies and complexities. Yet, there seemed to be a language Alhaitham was completely clueless about.

Summary
Alhaitham had always liked taking both keys when he left for work. He couldn’t resist, really. It was Kaveh’s fault for leaving his keys on the counter, and the look on the architect’s face when Alhaitham found him sulking on the porch was too good for the scribe to pass up. On one particular day, Alhaitham wished he had left his roommate’s keys on the table.

Summary
While Nahida is away on business with the traveler, Acting Grand Sage Alhaitham receives a request from Kshahrewar to help deal with unruly Jnana energy. However, soon afterwards, dealing with memories of others taking up his mind, it is up to Alhaitham to figure out the truth behind the Jnana energy and survive long enough to save his own mind.
“Alhaitham,” Kaveh says, his tone serious. “Are you alright?”
As if a gear is slotted back a centimeter, back into the place it should be turning, a sense of dread comes to him and at least for a moment, the samurai leaves him.
Kaveh called him by his name.
Kaveh never calls him by his name.
The astrologer takes over and speaks, “Everything is alright. It has simply been a long day.”

Summary
Kaveh used to think that Alhaitham had mastered the art of ignoring him. The man would remain unflappable as he continued to read his worn copy of The Origins of Enkanomiyan Language, even when Kaveh was a hair’s breadth away from shattering the windows of their house with his severity of pitch.
No amount of screaming, threats to throw things, or violently waving in front of him could get Alhaitham to pause in his thirst for knowledge. As it turns out, Alhaitham literally just turns his hearing aids off so he doesn’t have to listen to Kaveh.
It’s for this exact reason that Kaveh has decided to learn Sumerian Sign Language.
