Summary
King Endeavour's request for Keigo to be a double agent for the sorcerers who still used magic during the ban may not have been so complicated, if it wasn't for the fact he’d helped one of those magic users, Endeavour’s own son, escape the castle almost a decade ago.
Prince Shouto was just trying to find his brother, but he supposed the green haired boy he met on the way wasn't so bad.
Bakugo and his tribe had no interest in the affairs of the kingdom of Musutafu, and no opinion on magic, until a shapeshifter wound up in the forest one day, bleeding and wait why were his eyes so pretty goddammit-
Shinsou thought his magic was more of a curse, until a golden haired boy appeared in his visions and he woke up from his first peaceful sleep in months.

Summary
"The Major's my father," Stebbins spits out the words at the wheels of the half-track rumbling on in front of them with what little energy is left in his body. The red rim of his eyelids glimmer as he looks up at the Major. "I'm his bastard."
Ray stares at him. The actual meaning of his words take some time to penetrate the coldness in his chest that's slowing all his thoughts, but when they do, he looks at the Major to see his reaction. When he sees that there is none, he looks back at Stebbins, and the awful, raw edges of his expression, and then back to the Major, hoping for Stebbins' sake, that the man at least fucking reacts. However, when he looks back at the Major, he is no longer there. Instead, a cavernous hole decides to open up beneath the half track with a roar not too dissimilar to that of the carbines, swallowing the entire vehicle whole.
A moment later, a great watery crash rings out from miles below them.

Here's what Wilbur has learned; being a prophet is not just bloody mouth and shaking hands. It's not just stomach aches or dripping sweat or burning with fever from heaven's glow.
(He found another pile of dead locusts outside the entrance of Pogtopia, their small bodies glistening in the silver moonlight. He blacked out and woke up standing naked in the river again, his arms covered with ballpoint runes and all the rocks painted with hósanna in his own blood. He, once, kissed a boy when he was younger. He had nightmares about cities falling into the sea for weeks.)

Summary
His father taught them many tales of tricks and charms, ways to thread the world’s magic through the eyehole of what you wanted from it. And though Wilbur has never believed in monsters, neither has he ever stepped too close to the rabid foaming lip of the ocean.
The same cannot be said for Tommy.

Or; this island is a prison, something bad happens to Tommy in September, and Wilbur doesn’t have much family left.

“Shizu-chan will eat me whole, then? Like I’m an ortolan! Be careful to shield your face so God doesn’t see, though! It’s a messy business, see, bones and feathers and even the beak—”
“You don’t have feathers,” Shizuo said, wondering what it was all about, surprised into a momentary peace.
“I don’t have wings, either, I suppose,” Izaya laughed, and Shizuo thought, but how you fly.
Or, the story of how Shizuo learns to stop dreaming in sad colors.
