Summary
Shang Qinghua closes the notification and lets it float around in the back of his mind for a very long time. Eventually, he forgets about it. Until, while traveling with an incapacitated Shen Qingqiu, they’re attacked by creatures he’s never seen before and he has to click the yes button in order to not get them both killed. Unfortunately, Shen Qingqiu may kill him anyway if they can’t figure out a way back.
Follow our intrepid heroes as they try their best to make their way in the modern world (again), not kill each other, and get back to the world of PIDW before they’re kicked out of their shitty apartment or die of scurvy from eating too many ramen noodles.

It is his smile that draws him in initially, causes him to swipe right when ordinarily he would have closed his phone again, put on his pajamas, and tried properly to sleep. It is, after all, past his bedtime.
Half an hour later finds Lan Zhan, undeniably not in his pajamas, driving down the highway to the next tiny town over....

Lan Wangji hadn’t expected this. Wei Wuxian suggesting handfasting as a way of preventing the Chord Assasination attacks, when either of them could have blocked them with their swords— it had caught him by surprise. The idea of being married to Wei Wuxian rose within him, a possessive warmth swirling through his chest. Before he could convince himself otherwise, he took Wei Wuxian’s left hand, and bound their wrists together with a sure and gentle precision. This, he knew, meant something.
After speaking with Lan Yi in Cold Pool Cave, Wei Ying decides that he needs to go on a quest to find Baoshan Sanren, his grandmaster. Despite the existence of Baoshan Sanren being little more than an old wives' tale, Lan Wangji follows his husband without hesitation.

Sometimes you just couldn’t carry it alone. Sometimes you needed someone to stand by you, to fill the air with words until the world righted itself, to walk beside you back onto solid ground.
Sometimes, unfortunately, it was that person’s day off, and you had to drag yourself off the roof.
Jack kept drifting.
