Set 5(ish) months post canon. Title is from “Little Things Mean a Lot” by Kitty Kallen, which was the biggest song of 1954. Our thesbians probably heard this song on the radio constantly that year.

“Not a chance.“
She heard people come up to them. She struggled against his hold. She needed to leave, why wasn’t he letting her.
“Gil what’s going on?” She thinks Edward asked but wasn’t sure.
“Let me go. I want to leave”
“Well ain’t that a bite. You’re not driving right now. So calm down.”
She stopped fighting, maybe if she stopped he would let her go. And then she could get the hell out of dodge.
He did loosen his grip, but he stole the bike keys and threw them to Richie who pocketed them.
“Give me my keys!” Cynthia was really annoyed now.
“No.” This time Richie spoke. “What’s going on with you?”
She sighed. They clearly weren’t going to let her leave. She would have to walk or something.
“I don’t want to be here anymore.” She gave them a look. “I can’t be here anymore.”
