Charn gets sick and avoids Jet, resulting in a new understanding of both of their feelings.
Typing… then nothing. The silence is astronomical. It opens up like a black void threatening to swallow Jet whole. It doesn't bother me. That is the lie Jet feeds himself as he swallows around the lump in his throat. I can do this. He had lived an entire life before meeting Charnwit and he was independent (mostly).

Qin feels the same.
Before he knew it, tears were rushing to his eyes. He catches a glimpse of Qin's serious expression giving way to a soft smile, before he bursts into tears.
