Chapter Text

Midoriya hung up the last shirt in this micro closet, glad that he wasn’t much for fashion. He turned to look at this small dorm room, its bare bones of a bed, bookcase, and desk slowly coming to life as he unboxed his stuff. He counted off on his fingers, clothes done, bedsheets and plushies done, books. He looked over at the boxes sitting in front of the bookcase, not even started. He let out a sigh, stretching his back. He had only had the weekend to completely move in, him and his best friends uraraka and Iida having just made it off the waiting list and given one of the three people dorm rooms. He rolled his shoulders ready to dive into the dreaded books when he heard his door open.

“Deku!” Uraraka pocked her head in her face looking far too happy.

“Yes?” He asked, feeling a bit of dread.

She stepped into his room her energetic presence filling the space.
She pointed at her phone. “Guess who just got invited to the first party of the new school year!” She was practically bouncing on her feet “We did!”

Midoriya went pale, not doing well in crowds. “I don’t think-”

“Nope!” she pointed dramatically at him. “No excuses, we are going!” She saw his expression and calmed down a bit, looking more gentle.

“Deku, I know high school was, well, hard.” She up her hand on his shoulder, giving it a little squeeze. “But I really think that this would be good for you.” Midoriya bite his lip, looking up.

She perked back up “Alright, the sun is going down and the lights are going up! We gotta get ready. She bounced out of his room calling out
“Iida you're coming too.”

There was a scuffle from the room opposite his, “I can not leave the dorm today, we have classes soon and I must-”

“Iida, don’t take forever okay,” she said completely ignoring his cries, disappearing into her room.

“We must get ready for the upcoming classes!”

Midori laughed a bit to himself, turning to his closet “Iida, resistance is futile, you better get ready.”

After a few minutes, they met at the door. Uraraka had somehow turned from her moving in casual clothes to a perfectly put together fashionable look, winged eyeliner perfectly applied and all. He stood up as straight as Iidas usual posture, tense under her scrutinising eye. After a gloss over of Iida's business casual look and Midoriya's blue shirt and jeans she sighed.

“Honestly, you're dressed better than I thought but worse than I had hoped for, but it'll have to do, time to go!” She turned and they walked down the hall, out of the door passed people moving in and across compass, pace fast leaving them practically jogging behind her.

“How are you so fast in heels,” Midoriya asked, out of breath.

“Skill, but also you both are just slow.” The sun hung low in the sky orange rays bathing his new school in its colors, he looked around at all the big buildings, full of classroom. It still amazed him that he would be able to learn here.

“where are we going?”

“The party is across campus at the fraternity housing, that's why we had to get ready so fast.” She looked over at the sun “We are gonna be fashionably late.” She got her phone out, somehow not missing a step as she texted away, they passed the life science building and the sound so loaded, far down the street where the fraternity houses were, one was completely crowded, people already all over the lawn. Midoriya felt his stomach curl as he saw all the people the music getting louder and louder. He felt like he was on a death march. They made it to the house, Midoriya and Iida glued to Ururaka as she looked up from her phone to look around her.

She scanned the crowd, her high heels helping her only a little bit unable to see much over all the tall people. “Curse being short!”

“If you are looking for tsuya, she is in the over there, near the coaches,” Iida said, pointing straightly armed at the couch area across the room.

“Thanks Iida! Common guys!” She grabbed their hands and pushed through the crowd, the three all extremely tense with so much going on at once but the tension lessened as they made it to a more open area by a couch and a small group of girls. Uraraka immediately pulled Tsuyu into a kiss, stepping back bouncing very fast on her feet as she looked her girlfriend over.

“You look so cute today! I love the color green on you! This dress is new right?!” Uraraka yelled over the music. They were near the DJ station, which was a fold-out table at the far end of the room with a pretty alternative styled person, headphones focusing on the laptop in front of her, the speakers next to her pumping out beats that shook the floor. Iida fixed one of the earplugs he was using to lessen the overstimulation of noise and Midoriya found himself regretting not asking for a pair.

Midoriya missed most of the conversation having been scanning the room nervously but was brought back to the present with a touch on his arm. He jumped a little startling a pretty girl with strange almost yellow eyes and bright pink hair. She pulled her hand back quickly,

“Sorry! I shouldn't have just touched you, you were kinda just spacing out a bit I think?” She went to hold her hand out but at Midoriyas reaction to touch, she decided to just wave. “I'm Mina! Uraraka was supposed to introduce us.” They looked over to find Tsuya and Uraraka and Tsuyu faces close talking to each other and turned back, “But she seemed a little busy!” The pretty girl laughed so hard he could hear her over the music. “Do you wanna dance?!” She said with a huge grin, Midoriya felt bad turning her down.

“Oh no, I can't dance.” He got quieter at the end looking down a bit sure he couldn’t be heard over the music.

The pink girl was so nice though simply saying “OK! I'm gonna bust a move! Hope you enjoy the party!” She downed her drink placing the empty cup on the couch armrest and went to enter the mass of moving bodies. She looked back for a minute though. “Oh, I forgot, if you're looking for your friend, he over there, you better save him.”With a load laugh, she entered the dance floor, quickly eaten by the crowd, not even her bright pink hair standing out.

Midoriya looked around for Iida finding him with a small group of guys pulling him toward a table. Midoriya turned to Uraraka “Hey!”

He said causing her to pull away for Tusya,
“I think ideas in trouble!” He pointed over to were Iida was being dragged over too. Tsuya shook her head.

“You don’t have to worry, I know those guys they are probably just trying to get him to play with them!” At his confused look Tsuya elaborated, “Probably beer pong, I turned them down when they asked me!”

Uraraka looked over at Midoriya “Ya know Deku, You should be having fun too!”

She grabbed his hand and waved goodbye to her girlfriend while pulling him passed a still protesting idea. He could bearly hear him over the crowd

“This is not a very professional game, as a member of the school council-

“Aw come on, have fun!.” Said one of the guys pulling him, dodging Iidas robotic gestures.
Midoriya was pulled into a large white kitchen, its counters filled to the brim with punch bowls, beer and liquor bottles, and cups. Ururaka looked around before spotting another one of her friends, a stunningly beautiful woman with her long dark hair in a ponytail. Next to her stood oddest and most beautiful boy he'd ever seen. How were all of Urarakas friends so cute, in fact, it from what he'd seen everyone at this school was pretty attractive.

“Momo! I didn’t think you were able to make it, with the starting ceremonies and stuff.”

Momo, as the women was named waved her hand, “To be honest we are totally screwed, because of the problems with the dorms and scheduling and all that, they've moved the ceremony and club stuff to next week so we have time to spare, I though Iida would have told you that though.”

Uraraka scowled a bit “Oh he always says its the student counsels business.” She did a bad impression of him and they both laughed.
As they talked the Midoriya and the strange boy just sort of stared at each other. Well, the other blatantly stared at Midoriya while he crumpled a bit under his steady gaze, catching glances at him. He had two-toned white and red hair and his eyes were different colors. Midoriya could see he had a burn mark on part of his face but the rest of his skin looked smooth. All Midoriya could think about was how breathtakingly beautiful the other was and how heavy his stare was.

“Oh, I forgot! This is Midoriya!” Momo turned her pretty dark eyes to him, waving with a kind smile.

“It's really nice to meet you finally! I've heard so much about you!” Midoriya's face when a pit pale and she started to backtrack “All positive stuff of course,” She turned to look and the beautiful boy, “This brooding loser is my best friend Shoto todoroki”

He waved a bit, eyes still boring wholes Midoriya “Yo.” was all he said.
Uraraka and Momo looked at them and then at each other, both getting a great idea. With a nod from Momo, Uraraka clapped her hands together. “I know what we should do! A party game!”

“That's a great idea,” Momo said. She reached over and grabbed a bottle of vodka as Uraraka went in search of some plastic shot glasses “We should do a tournament style drinking game, who can do the most shots wins!”

Midoirya quickly tried to step back shaking his hands and head, he was stopped by an elbow in his side by Uraraka.

Shoto was trying to walk away too “not interested.”

Momo pulled him back over though and kept a vice grip on his arm, “ah come on guys, I'm sure it'll be a lot of fun.”

Uraraka started stimming again bouncing on her feet excited. “Ya, and honestly you both look like you need to have some fun, its a party for god sakes!” She threw her arms into the air, causing Momo to chuckle a bit “The perfect time to let loose!”

Midoriya felt a little calmer, feeling his best friends enthusiasm, though he was still incredibly nervous. His stomach was in knots and the hot guy was still staring at him.

“Alright, momo vs shoto and me vs midoriya” Momo filled the glasses. Midoriya picked it up, he'd never done a shot before but the cup was so small it couldn’t be that bad. “And drink!” All four downed their cup in one go, Midoriya almost spitting his out. The taste of vodka, the first hard liquor hed ever tried, was awful, sharp and somehow dry at the same time. Who would willingly drink this?”

---------

Midoriya wobbled on his feet, dragging an equally wobbly Shoto passed a group of frat boys yelling as a blonde guy was lited into the air to do a keg stand.

“Midoooriyaaa, where we going,” Shoto asked, letting himself get pulled along. They stopped at a tree a little ways away from the party, the load music bearly reaching them.

“Here!” He leaned back against the tree for support “You wanted to get away from the crowd for a bit hu” He said.

Shoto nodded “you're very in, intuitive.”

The song changed to fall out boys surgar we're going down blasting through the speaker from the house. Midoriya jumped up “Oh I love this song!” He started swaying a lot, shoto watching him amused. Midoriya got an idea “Hey dance with me!”

Shoto shook his head “I don’t dance.”

Midoriya grabbed his hand “Aw come on! Just one dance?” He started trying to bust some moves but looked so ridiculous throwing his limbs around. Shoto couldn’t help himself, he started swaying a bit to the music too. He felt ridiculous but watching Midoiya move, complete free he felt the warmth grown in his chest and he started to let loose a bit.

They tried dancing together but it was so uncoordinated and uncontrolled they bumped into each other and stepped on each other's feet but they were both having too much fun to care. Midoriya grabbed Todorokis hand and tried to do the turn away but on the way back he fell on him, both tumbling to the ground.
Shotos head bumped heard against the grass, Midoriya's knee hitting hit straight in the gut.

“Oh owww.” He rolled over on his side. Midoriya sat up quickly having had Torodoki break his fall.

“I'm so sorry, are you ok.” He said, haft laughing. He moved on his knees not trusting himself to get up and sort of hobbled over to Todoroki. He moved in close trying not to tip over as he ducked down. Todoriki uncurled his head moving so that their faces were close. With the sound of fall out boy in the background, the smell of grass and alcohol, the scene was still. Midoriya dripped his head, kissing Todoroki slow and sweet. Before he could pull away Todorokis hand found its way to the back of his head. They broke their kiss so Todoroki could sit up and Midori was on him, kissing deeply, hands running down his body to the strip of skin from where his shirt was riding up. Todoroki cupped Midoriya's face gently. They leaned into each other, passion growing.

Midoriya broke the kiss, moving down to his neck leaving kisses between his words. “Do you wanna go?”

Todoroki stretched his neck, his head dizzy. “Ya, I'm in dorm d, you?”
Midoriya pulled away moving his hands from Todoroki and getting up. Todoroki missed the heat but Midoriya held his hand out. “Your dorm is closer and has single rooms, right? I have roommates.”
Todoroki grabbed his hand, swaying getting up, leaning a bit into the shorter boy. “Ill lead the way.” They were off, dizzy and drunk off took much vodka and each others touch.
