Haru's love for justice was always deeply ingrained, his less than normal care for his own life was a habit built quite early on in his life.
Supporting a struggling mother and raising a younger brother while fighting against a deadbeat dad was all he knew.
So he demanded justice from his father and gave all the care to his mother and brother.
He never really thought about himself and it showed in his habits.
This is the way life had always been for him, easy yet hard.
Hard as in demanding his all always, to make ends meet at times.. Easy because he always knew how things stand.
Haru's life didn't give him many surprises.
He knew life is tough and life didn't disappoint.
He knew he would have to give his everything and life kept taking.
He always knew his time with his family is límited and Life took them away.
He was sad, but such was Life.
He was meant to learn to give without wanting anything in return and that's what he did.
Being a cop was easy yet hard.
Easy as in he always knew what he had to do.
Hard as in he wanted to do more but had to hold himself back.
And then he hurt someone innocent.
He knows it was a mistake, but knowing something and believing it are two different things.
Knowing something and not be boughed down by the guilt anyway.. Is not something he can do.
He transfers to MCTPF.
Life doesn't surprise him. That's how it's always been. He knows what he is expected to do and he does it.
He finds himself questioning - when one Daisuke Kambe not just enters his city, but enters his department, his life.
Life doesn't surprise him, that's how it's always been, but Humans Do. And He is looking at the biggest Surprise in his lifetime.
Because, For the first time, Its not Life that has his reigns.. Its Daisuke Kambe.
And man, is he in for a long ride.
