Work Text:
“You’re so pretty, y’know that?” Hajime says with a sigh, turning onto his side to face Nagito.
Said god laughs softly in response, the mini constellations on his cheeks twinkling as he shakes his head. “How many times have you said that now,” he teases, waving his hand and dismissing the cloud of smoke that displayed the nebula he was inspecting just a moment ago.
“Don’t know, don’t care.” Hajime reaches out and Nagito smiles a bit wider, intertwining their hands without being asked. “It’s still true every time. You’re literally ethereal, it’s not fair.”
“Should I go to Kirigiri-san and ask for a celestial trial, then?” Nagito rests his head on his unoccupied hand as he says this, watching amused while Hajime pretends to contemplate the idea.
“Mmm...nah,” he settles on, letting go of Nagito’s hand to brush a piece of hair behind his ear, “it’s not fair how pretty you are but I’m fine with that as long as I get to look at you whenever.”
“Well,” Nagito says, turning his head to press a kiss to Hajime’s wrist, “you’ll have all the time in the universe to do that, love.”
