Techno is a piglin hybrid (mom’s side), and his father left when he was three
- Tommy is a half-avian half-piglin hybrid, and his father was killed by hunters during a raid
-
The brothers are five years apart, and Techno would most definitely die for his Tommy
-
Tommy’s real name is Theseus, but he went by Theo while in 2B2T. Changing his name was a way to put up a facade. (and he didn’t want people to know his real name. that was for his family only)
-
Techno and Tommy both have the voices from their years of killing. For every person they killed, another voice was added to their chat. The two brothers have thousands of voices.
-
Techno was eight and Tommy three when the city they were visiting was raided by hunters. Their mother was killed protecting them and the boys were given to the hybrid trafficking ring in 2B2T. Forced to fight, Techno took on twice as many battles so Tommy would stay safe. But when Tommy turned five, Techno taught him to fight, and he started battling in the ring. The two brothers dominated, never once losing a match.
- Battle winnings were given out in shulker boxes, and those rich enough to afford them, would store their loot in Blood Boxes. Keyed to those who owned them, they were similar to Ender Chests. Though the Blood Boxes stayed on the person, even on different servers. Anything from Totems of Undying to Enchanted Weapons were given out as loot. Techno’s favorites were the large Tomes of Ancient Magic and Rituals, and texts on the Gods of Olde.
- Techno and Tommy were both born with their piglin traits, and Tommy developed his wings when he turned six. It took two straight days of mind-numbing, searing pain for them to grow in. (techno was worried sick because he couldn’t do anything but hold tommy and give him the occasional sip of regen) His wings were beautiful, reds, oranges, and golds that flickered like fire on his back. After searching through some of their texts, they found them to be Phoenix wings.
- With his new wings came the need to be able to hide them. The brothers spent hours scouring their Tomes for a way to conceal hybrid traits. The search eventually proved useful when they happened upon a very old type of magic. When done properly, the spell would veil all outward hybrid traits. Only problem was, the spell was in Ender. While fluent in Common and Piglin, the brothers didn’t know the language of the End.
- This problem was solved by a little half-enderman, half-ghast hybrid named Ranboo. Techno and Tommy had found the boy on a trip to the Nether in 2B2T, hiding off of one of the Nether highways. Tommy immediately befriended the boy, declaring him his new younger brother (though Techno was very sure Ranboo was older than Tommy) and the two became almost inseparable, only rivaled by Tommy and Techno’s relationship. Techno taught him to fight, and they both helped teach Ranboo Common and Piglin. In turn, Ranboo helped them learn Ender. This allowed the boys to learn the trait hiding spell.
- Tommy used the spell for months until he was able to fight with his wings. In the ring, they gave him a new advantage, and earned him a new name. They called him the Phoenix, the Bloodletter. He who rises again and again, who burns with the fury and fire of a thousand suns.
- Techno had already earned his name. The Blood God. He who strikes fear into the masses, who leaves his enemies as nothing more than a disfigured corpse, who bathes in the blood of those who oppose him .
- Ranboo did not fight often in the rings, but the few times he did, his foes were so quickly defeated that people began to fear him as well. They called him Dolos. He who disguises himself, who thrives upon illusion.
- Their family was close, bonds unshakeable.
- It would be in the ring where they would find their next member.
-
Deo was new to 2B2T, obviously brought in from the outside, but older than the usual candidates from the hybrid trafficking ring. Tommy took interest in him, and immediately made it his duty to annoy the hell out of the new boy at all times. Surprisingly, the two got on like a house on fire, Deo matching Tommy’s jabs and boisterous personality with his quick wit and rapid fire quips of his own. Soon enough, he was inducted into their little makeshift family, as the older brother of Tommy and Ranboo, but still younger than Techno.
- Deo loved fighting in the ring almost as much as Techno, and his herobrine descendant status made it even more fun. They called him Chronos. He who walks with time, who paralyzes men where they stand.
- The little family survived and dominated 2B2T for years, up until Tommy turned thirteen, the age requirement for server hopping. They collected their Blood Boxes, set up communicators (it wouldn’t do for them to have no way to contact each other after all), and helped Tommy bind his features, and creating his “TommyInnit” persona. Each boy went their separate way, keeping in contact with the others throughout their own journeys.
-
On one of his hops, Tommy ran across a boy in all white with a porcelain mask, only a little bit younger than Deo. Forced to beat the game in order to leave the server, which was full of unfamiliar mobs and monsters, the boys worked together. The boy in white, Boffy, was snarky and pessimistic, and Tommy thought he was hilarious. Soon enough, a fifth brother was added to their family, and was shown Tommy’s true appearance. Upon leaving that server, Boffy and Tommy reunited with the rest of the family, each sharing stories of their adventures.
-
Techno also spoke of the new server he had seen. SMP Earth it was called. He had already been planning to head there after the family got together, and invited the rest to come with. While Boffy and Ranboo declined, choosing to go make their own little server that the family could come home to, Deo and Tommy went with him.
-
It was on SMP Earth that the brothers learned to plan confrontations ahead of time. The problem with keeping their familial status a secret was that they had no excuse not to fight when on opposing sides. In order to remedy this, the family would meet in secret, and plan their fights and battles. And while they acted close, Tommy and Deo pretended to be only friends.
-
This caused a new problem for them.
-
With no family to be seen, everyone assumed Tommy an orphan. Now, this wasn’t really a problem, not until the Dream SMP. Tommy had followed Wilbur there after the decline of SMP Earth, his brothers traveling to Hypixel instead. It was here that people started to think him and Wilbur brothers. Wilbur never did anything to staunch these rumors. In fact, he did quite the opposite when he declared Tommy his brother officially, despite his assurances that “ I really do have a family Will! and I don’t need another one.”
-
The hole he had dug himself in only grew deeper with Phil “adopting” him into the family, “officially”. Neither Wilbur or Phil noticed how much Tommy seemed to hate the idea.
-
Fighting in the wars was aggravating, to say the least for Tommy. Unable to fight the way he knew he could, he had to play weak, and with none of his brothers around this time, he had no one to spar with. Tommy grew restless, taking up mischief and pranking in order to appease the voices. He could not spill blood here, not yet.
-
Tommy was ecstatic when Techno joined, his big brother allowing him to have an actual fight for once. But with the appearance of his family, came the plans. This time, when Techno helped Wilbur blow up L’Manburg, Tommy knew what was happening beforehand. And when Ranboo joined the SMP, Tommy was even more excited. They did still light George’s house on fire (a product of some accidental phoenix fire) and Tommy still went to exile, protecting his brother. He knew Ranboo wouldn’t be able to act as well as he could, and didn’t want to have him in a place that he couldn’t protect him.
-
When Dream began “manipulating” him, Tommy played along, pretending to be weak and malleable. In actuality, he goes to Techno’s twice a week for family night with his brothers. It’s almost funny how Dream thinks he has Tommy under his thumb. The day Dream blows up Logstead, Tommy goes back to Techno’s and stays there for the week. He still hides when Dream comes, and sides with Tubbo, but this time, it’s planned. Tommy knows that his brother is planning on blowing up L’Manburg again, and he agrees with him. If it weren’t for Ranboo being there, the Butcher Army could’ve seriously hurt him. And Tommy hates seeing Tech hurt.
- After Doomsday Tommy began working on his hotel with Sam Nook, who was actually quite lovely. Sometime around that Phil managed to successfully revive Wilbur, who began following Tommy around constantly. It was honestly really exhausting.
