Work Text:
It looks at the building, eyeing it with a contempt that only a former member of the A.A.H.W. could possess. And act upon. It surveys the exterior of the building, noting how there seemed to be no camera systems or Agents guarding its exterior. Foolish. A mistake that they would all pay for with their lives. It approaches the building, making sure that it remained unseen. Hidden. It could not afford to be loud, for it was unarmed.
It was right by the wall now. It could hear people, going on about their days in this reddish hellscape. That would change soon however. It reeled its fist, before punching through the wall as hard as it could. It hears the shocked gasps of people inside. It grabbed a chunk of the wall, before tearing it out. It reaches into the hole, grabbing someone, then pulls them through the hole. Ah, an Engineer. Off to a good start already. It punches through the wall again, creating a hole big enough for it to enter the building.
There were several Agents and a few Engineers in the base. A good catch. For a few seconds, nobody moves a muscle. Then, an Engineer pulls out an SR-3 and starts firing at it. And then it erupted into chaos. Agents began to fall back, while a few stayed behind to distract it. One of the Engineers ran off as well. It grabs the Engineer that shot at it and tears him in half, letting both halves of his corpse fall to the floor as it moves to another target. It grabs a nearby crate and throws it at a group of Agents that had made the mistake of grouping up, reveling in the sound of their bodies being reduced to a fine, red paste.
It turns, swiping its elongated fingernails at an Agent. The Agent falls to the floor, dropping his OTs-33 as he bled profusely from the sharp claw-like nails. It reaches over to two Agents. One of the Agents jumps onto its hand, takes out a Bowie knife and stabs it. This did little to injure it, and did lots to piss it the fuck off. It grabs the offending Agent and crushes the upper half of his body, before throwing the corpse at the second Agent, who promptly dies from the force of the impact. A few shots hit it in the torso, and it turns to see an Engineer firing an M14 at it. Useless. It reaches down, grabbing an Agent before chucking it at the Engineer, who just barely manages to dodge it. He does not however manage to dodge the MAG Agent's shoe stomping down on it, reducing it to another fine yellow paste on the floor. And on its shoe. Eugh.
The MAG looks around, noticing how empty the room was now. It was time to move to the next one. It steps over to the door, before punching through it and walking out. It sees a strange looking grenade thrown at it before its vision suddenly goes white. It just faintly hears a few gunshots over the deafening sound the grenade made, and it blindly swats around. The sound of someone screaming means that it hit something. Its vision was restored, and it turns to see a Soldat, holding an MP5K. The Soldat and the MAG Agent stare at each other for a few seconds, before it turns tail and begins to flee. It could hit the Soldat, not with his advanced reflexes and how small he was. It needed a weapon. It navigates the base, crushing and throwing away as many Agents and Engineers as it could while still running.
It finds an armory, one for MAG Agents like itself. It grabs the bars and tears them off, allowing it to reach in and grab one of the weapons. It grabs a MAG-sized M249, racking it as the door opens and as the Soldat walks in. It turns to face the Soldat, who looks at it with unadultered horror as he slowly backs away. It walks out of the armory, before aiming the M249. The Soldat breaks into a sprint, running for dear life as it fires a short burst at the door. It breaks through the wall above the door, slowly advancing through the base and swatting away any Agents or crushing them with the M249. It turns, seeing a room it had never noticed before.
A control room. It made its way up the steps, entering the control room to the horror of the present Engineers. One of the Engineer pulls out an AT4 and takes aim, only to get a hole torn in the side of his head by the MAG-sized M249. It aims at the other Engineer, who pulls out an M203 and moves to the side, aiming it at the MAG. He fires, only for the 40x46mm H.E. to miss and hit the ceiling. He gives the MAG Agent a nervous smile, before quickly moving to reload the M203. Three shots at the Engineer is enough to tear a gaping hole in his head.
The MAG Agent shoots at the controls, before making its way back down. It sees the same grenade at its feet, and the same Soldat, whose MP5K's barrel is just barely visible through the doorway. It aims the M249 at the doorway and pulls the trigger just as it gets blinded again. It stops firing, taking its sunglasses off and wiping its eyes with its sleeve. It stares at the yellow blood that pooled up by the doorway. It puts the sunglasses back on, before making its way through the base once more.
To its delight, most, if not all of the base's denizens were dead. Good riddance, it thought. It breaks through several walls in the base, just to be petty, before walking outside and making another long trek through the Nevadean desert, leaving the empty and pathetic excuse of a base behind, along with the several corpses it now held. Once it was a safe distance away, it turns back to the base, watching part of the building collapse. It snickered to itself. It doubles over, clutching its wounds. Didn't injure it too much, but it would be lying if it said that it didn't sting like a bitch. Perhaps the mysterious power that revived it could fix its injuries for it once again. It looks up, seeing a few MAG-sized rolls of bandages. Or, that same mysterious power could simply give it the resources it needed to continue living. It silently thanked this mysterious power as it grabbed the bandages and wrapped them around its wounds. Once they were all wrapped up and covered by the bandages, it grabbed the M249 and continued its journey.
