Chapter 1

Luna was writing her thesis when she suddenly she blacked out, she regains consciousness to find herself surrounded by a warm fuzzy feel, it was so comfortable she soon lost consciousness again, in and out for God knows how long, she had a feeling she was forgetting something important but she just couldn't grasp what it was.

    During her time in the warm, comfy cocoon she felt two contrasting force flow through her, both fighting and restraining each other, apart from this there was no other incident of disturbance, she gradually matured and few months later she was born, like any other new born baby she cried for the loss of her safety net. She was named Clarissa Fairchild or what we know as Clary Fray.

  Clary grew up not thinking anything was amiss, she lived and acted like any other growing child, that nagging feeling she was forgetting something soon faded into nothingness. She was 6 years old when her reality shattered, playing close to the river while out with her mother and she saw her first demon, at that moment everything suddenly made sense while not making any at the same time, all of her memories bubbled back to the front of her mind, in the space of time before her mother took her to the Magnus Bane to have her memories removed she decided to change it all, she was going to derail the path and hope for a much better understanding while creating her own love.

   On getting to Magnus' loft she tried to distract her mom to get some time alone with Magnus, unable to come up with a plan she was feeling stumped, she felt that if she lost her memories now it will be a long while before she remembered anything again about her past life as she recalled them during the demon timeframe, she wanted to make consequential changes so she had to keep her memories. She prevented her mom, Jocelyn from tying her up and while Jocelyn was fighting with Magnus on the morality of the situation she ran and hid, that seemed to stop the adults from further argument in a bid to find her, Jocelyn before she hurt herself and Magnus before she tempered with something she shouldn't be touching.

   She found Magnus first, she shushed him before he could inform Jocelyn about her whereabouts, dragging him down to her height she begged him not to remove her memories, she asked to make show of it, pretend he did and surprisingly he agreed, overjoyed she hugged him, they both returned to the room, where he pretended to remove her memories in the presence of Jocelyn, he made an appointment for every two years. The first change was a success and a new story is in rewrite.

   Clary grew, her bi-annually meeting with Magnus still in effect, she tried to isolate Simon to prevent his fate but destiny had other plans as they were still really close friends as her 18th birthday approached. She concentrated on her painting while taking martial arts classes on the side in preparation for the inevitable return to the shadow world.

   She knew how the story was going to unfold so she didn't even bother to send her application to any college, said she wanted to wait a year when she was asked why. Her Birthday came and everything went the exact same way, even down to her rejection to talk to her mom and getting the Steele. She still went to Pandemonium and instead of bumping into Jace, she went directly into the room they were in fighting with the shapeshifter demons, she got her hand on a sword and fought with them, leaving as soon as it was over to find her mom.

   The invasion of the circle was inevitable, her mom pushed me through the portal, She landed at the police office but didn't go to meet Luke, cause she remembered he was meeting with circle and didn't want to alert them to his deceit, she returned home and fought the demon while waiting for the Shadowhunter that will save her this time or this lifetime. The story was finally starting, Clary woke up in the church- the Shadowhunter base.

    She was in shock, she knew what was coming but it was still overwhelming, everything was a mess, her life was overturned, her mom kidnapped, her house burned and Simon was inevitably on the road to death and rebirth as a vampire. Clary wanted to scream out loud about all that was going to happen but couldn't do that, she was stuck and living the show while trying to change as much as possible.

  Clary went out with Jace to meet Simon who was invited in after the death of the circle member and the police's interference, of course Simon had his doubts but he trusted her to make the right call and since she already knew what will happen so her choice was clear, she had to go with Jace and in an attempt to protect Simon a bit longer she invited him in too.
