Nathaniel walked along the pavement, checking his phone for any new text messages, and checking the news. Beside him, he heard shouts and screams. Hastily, he turned around, expecting there to be an akuma and already thinking of places to run. I mean, it’s instinct at this point.
And right he was. There, hovering in the middle of the road, was Reverser, in all his glory.
Hold on.
Reverser?
Nathaniel instantly worried on what happened to Marc, trying to think on what could have caused this. His thinking was cut short when he heard another yell.
Reverser pointed a finger at him, “You!”
His heart stopped, Marc got akumatized because of him? Again? The last time they hanged out together (which was just an hour ago), everything was fine! What could have possibly happened which could have upset Marc?
Once again, his thinking was cut short by a hand on his waist and the feeling of wind against his skin. Nathaniel turned and saw black and white instead of ladybug like he was slightly expecting.
“Marc?” he called out.
“Yes, that’s my name, don't wear it out,” the akuma replied dryly. Nathaniel couldn’t say anymore as he was currently clinging onto Reverser so he doesn’t die.

Eventually, they slowed down. Nathaniel sighed of relief, relishing the fact that he is alive.
“You!”
He said that way too soon.
Nathaniel finger gunned back, “Me.”
“How DARE you,” Marc growled, “You do not get to talk about yourself like that.”
Okay, this was getting very awkward for him.
'“Listen, Marc- er, Reverser, I don’t understand what I did wrong.” To be honest, Nathaniel felt a little defensive. Who was he to say he did something when he doesn’t even know what that something is?
Reverser grabbed his shoulders, staring at him.
“You, Nathaniel Kutzberg are an amazing person. Your smile is like the sun, the best thing in this whole universe.
I love it when you put your bangs up because I get to see both of your eyes. Might I just add, I would happily die if I could get lost in your eyes forever.
Anything you wear looks gorgeous because you yourself is gorgeous so that automatically means-“
Unfortunately (or fortunately, considering Nathaniel felt like his face is on fire), he didn’t get to hear the rest. Ladybug got the object holding the akuma, releasing a white butterfly.
Marc fell into his arms, thankfully not akumatized anymore.
“You okay?” Nathaniel asked, brushing a couple of strands out of Marc’s eyes.
The other coughed a little before stuttering, “Y-yes. Yes, I’m okay.”
Quickly, Marc shot up. “What about you?” He frowned, “I didn’t do anything, did I?”
Nathaniel blushed ferociously, shaking his head.
Meanwhile, Chat Noir and Ladybug glanced at each other, both smirking at the scene in front of them.
