Waking up in the middle of nowhere was not part of the plan.
Having to remember why Garfield was in the middle of nowhere was not part of the plan.
None of this was good but as that last bit of drowsiness faded and he started to remember, he wished that his sleep never ended.
They were dead, Garfield's parents were dead. They had died, now he was alone and had to discover what his power meant for the future.
What was there to do now? In the middle of Africa, at eight years old, with no food, no shelter, and no one to turn to, what could he do?
