White Rabbit 1
EXT. STREETS OF PARIS - DAY
ALIX is seen roller skating, alone. THE OWL is seen sitting in a tree, looking around with binoculars. Suddenly we see a hoard of ZOO ANIMALS running down the street, chasing after a random CIVILIAN in the view of his binoculars. He falls out of the tree and gets trampled by the ANIMALS.
CIVILIAN:
Somebody help me!
As the ANIMALS pass ALIX, she scrambles to get out of their way and falls backwards. LADYBUG swings down from a building and carries the CIVILIAN to a nearby rooftop. ANIMAN transforms into a PIGEON and flies after them but, CHAT NOIR hits the charm around his ankle with a cataclysm, releasing the akuma.
LADYBUG:
Time to de-evilize! Gotcha! Bye-bye little butterfly.
LADYBUG offers the ZOOKEEPER a charm and then slings her YO-YO at a nearby building. CHAT NOIR follows after her.
EXT. PARIS ROOFTOP - DAY
LADYBUG lands in a kneeling position on the roof and quickly stands. CHAT NOIR lands beside her. They look at each other with satisfied smiles.
CHAT NOIR & LADYBUG:
Pound it!
We see a quick close up of their fistbump.
CHAT NOIR:
We saved the day in record time, M’lady. Do you think maybe we could have some fun?
CHAT NOIR looks at her with pouty eyes. Both hands on his BATON, he rests his chin.
LADYBUG:
Sorry Kitty, no time to spare. I’ve got this huge particle physics test to study for. But maybe we could grab lunch before patrol tomorrow?
His eyes light up as he straightens, suddenly.
CHAT NOIR:
Do you need a study partner? I happen to be pretty good at PURRticle physics.
LADYBUG tilts her head, considering.
LADYBUG:
Okay but, you can’t look at my notes. We’ll feed our kwami’s, grab our study materials and meet on the Eiffel tower. Bug out!
LADYBUG hooks her YO-YO onto a nearby building and swings off into the distance. CHAT NOIR bounces from side to side excitedly, with his BATON in hand.
CHAT NOIR:
Oh man, She actually said yes!
INT. MARINETTE’S BEDROOM - DAY
LADYBUG lands on her BED right as she de-transforms back to Marinette. TIKKI appears at her side.
TIKKI:
Are you sure this is a good idea, Marinette?
MARINETTE climbs down from her bed and begins rummaging through her BACKPACK. She pulls out a PENCIL, a NOTEBOOK, and a TEXTBOOK as she talks.
MARINETTE:
What’s the worst that could happen? As long as he doesn’t look at my name on my notes, everything will be fine. I trust him. Besides, if I fail this test then I’ll really have something to worry about.
TIKKI:
I trust him, too, Marinette. Just be careful.
The other KWAMI’S fly over to them with curiosity in their eyes.
FLUFF:
Wait, is Marinette finally going on a date with Chat Noir?!
SASS:
I told you it was only a matter of time.
Marinette:
What? No! It’s not a date. He’s just going to help me study.
DAIZZI:
Ooh, a study date! How romantic.
MARINETTE:
It is not! Chat Noir is just a friend. You guys know this.
KAALKI:
Well…
TIKKI glares at KAALKI from over MARINETTE’S shoulder, silently shushing her with her arm. MARINETTE shakes her head.
MARINETTE:
You guys know I don’t plan on dating anyone until Shadowmoth is defeated. Not even Adrien. And especially not Chat Noir.
MULLO:
But you’ll tell us if you change your mind, right?
MARINETTE:
You guys will be the first to know. Anyway, I have to get going. I’ll see you later!
MARINETTE climbs back onto her BED and through the DOOR on her ceiling, to the ROOF.
MARINETTE:
Tikki, spots on!
MARINETTE Transforms into Ladybug and jumps off of her roof with a running start, releasing her YO-YO in mid-air.
INTRO SEQUENCE PLAYS
EXT. EIFFEL TOWER - DAY
CHAT NOIR sits alone on the EIFFEL TOWER, happily kicking his feet and bobbing his head from side to side. Next to him we see a stack of NOTEBOOKS and a TEXTBOOK. He wears a goofy grin on his face. We hear him humming the familiar tune of “Little kitty on a roof all alone without his lady.” LADYBUG lands behind him but he doesn’t notice. Her eyes light up and she begins walking stealthily towards him. She’s careful not to make a sound until she’s directly behind him. She crouches down by his ear and abruptly grabs his shoulders.
LADYBUG:
BugaBOO!
CHAT NOIR jumps with a start and falls off the EIFFEL TOWER, screaming. LADYBUG quickly wraps him in her YO-YO before he can fall too far. She looks down at him, suppressing a laugh.
LADYBUG:
Sorry, I didn’t realize you were such a scaredy cat.
CHAT NOIR:
Very funny. I’ll forgive you for a kiss.
Ladybug shakes her head, smiling, as she begins to pull him up.
LADYBUG:
Not a chance, kitty.
CHAT NOIR:
It was worth a try.
LADYBUG and CHAT NOIR sit down beside each other and begin opening up their study materials.
CHAT NOIR:
So what’s your test over?
LADYBUG:
There’s this one lesson that doesn’t quite make sense to me. I’m trying to find it…
LADYBUG is flipping through the pages of her NOTEBOOK when suddenly a strong gust of wind blows it out of her hands and it hits CHAT NOIR in the face. LADYBUG mutters an apology as he pulls it off but he freezes, realizing he’s looking at a drawing of a LABELLED FAMILY PORTRAIT of ADRIEN, MARINETTE, and three kids named EMMA, LOUIS, AND HUGO. We see a closeup of the picture. HEARTS are drawn all across the page. The drawing is titled THE AGRESTE FAMILY. He stares at the picture, eyes wide and mouth hanging open. A BLUSHING LADYBUG violently grabs and closes the notebook, holding it tightly to her chest.
LADYBUG:
Tikki was right. This was a bad idea.
CHAT NOIR stares at LADYBUG who is staring at the ground.
CHAT NOIR:
Marinette?
LADYBUG lifts the notebook to cover her face.
LADYBUG:
Would you believe me if I said I’m borrowing her notes?
His shocked expression turns into a warm smile and he places a hand on her shoulder.
CHAT NOIR:
I’m happy either way if it means Marinette’s in love with me.
LADYBUG lowers the notebook to reveal tears in her eyes. She furrows her eyebrows together, finally looking her partner in the eyes.
LADYBUG:
With you?
He nods, his smile growing wider.
CHAT NOIR:
Plagg, claws in.
CHAT NOIR de-transforms, leaving ADRIEN in his place, hand still on LADYBUG’s shoulder, smile still on his face. LADYBUG stares, making a similar expression to the one he made when he saw the picture.
LADYBUG:
Am I dreaming?
Adrien pinches her arm, playfully.
INT. BUNNYX’S BURROW
We zoom out to see the scene we were just watching on the wall of BUNNYX’S BURROW. Her hand is pressed against the image and we see it begin to flicker. She pulls it back and stares at it.
BUNNYX:
No, Minibug but, this is definitely my
nightmare.
BUNNYX looks noticeably distressed. She puts her hand back on the screen and a new scene begins to play out. We see LADYBUG and CHAT NOIR slow dancing to Adrienette’s song and BUNNYX quickly switches to another scene. We see Adrien and Marinette walking in the rain, hand in hand, under Adrien’s umbrella. Again, BUNNYX switches to another scene. This time, we zoom in.
INT. AGRESTE MANSION - NATHALIE’S BEDROOM - DAY
GABRIEL AGRESTE is sitting next to a bedridden NATHALIE, watching TV. On the screen we see NADJA CHAMACK seated across from LADYBUG and CHAT NOIR.
NADJA CHAMACK:
Hello Parisians, I’m Nadja Chamack and this is face-to-face. Please welcome our beloved superheroes, Ladybug and Chat Noir! (beat.)
They’re here today for an exclusive interview and, if I’m not mistaken, they’ve got a very exciting announcement for us as well! Ladybug, do you mind telling us what that is?
LADYBUG:
Actually, Nadja, we’re only making this public because I lost a bet with this silly cat. I think you’d better let him do the honors.
CHAT NOIR:
Aww, thanks Bugaboo! Nadja, do you remember how last time we were here, you were hoping that we’d admit to being in a relationship?
NADJA CHAMACK:
Who could forget? That turned out to be a disaster… But does this mean what I think it means?
CHAT NOIR:
Your favorite superhero duo has officially become your favorite superhero couple!
CHAT NOIR reaches for LADYBUG’S hand and pulls it to his lips for a kiss. Gabriel grips the TV REMOTE, shaking with rage. He turns the screen off before throwing the remote across the room and burying his face in his hands.
GABRIEL:
Those insignificant children get to have a happy relationship while I suffer alone, everyday.
NATHALIE places a comforting hand on his shoulder.
NATHALIE:
Don’t worry, sir, soon you will have their Miraculous and you can be happy again, too.
INT. BUNNYX’S BURROW
The image zooms out and we see BUNNYX switch to another scene. We see a close up of her face as she gasps and then we switch to the scene she’s looking at.
EXT. THE EIFFEL TOWER - DAY
VOLPINA is standing on the EIFFEL TOWER, dangling MARINETTE over the edge.
VOLPINA:
Hand over your Miraculous now or I’ll drop Marinette!
CHAT NOIR:
Drop her. We know what your powers are. I’m sure she’s just an illusion.
LADYBUG:
We won’t fall for your tricks, Lila!
VOLPINA:
Is that a chance you’re willing to take?
LADYBUG and CHAT NOIR charge at VOLPINA and she drops MARINETTE. Neither of them go after her. She hits the ground and disappears in a puff of orange smoke.
INT. SHADOWMOTH’S LAIR - DAY
SHADOWMOTH stands alone with his hand on his chin. After a moment of silence, he pulls out his phone and calls Nathalie.
SHADOWMOTH:
I think I’ve just discovered Ladybug’s identity. Volpina made an illusion of Marinette Dupain-Cheng and they let her fall without hesitation. They must have been sure it wasn’t real.
NATHALIE: If you’re correct, sir, that means she’s cheating on your son.
SHADOWMOTH:
Unless...
(With eyes wide in realization:)
My son is Chat Noir.
SHADOWMOTH flashes a knowing smile.
INT. BUNNYX’S BURROW
Static begins appearing on the various timelines scattered across the walls of the burrow.
BUNNYX:
No!
Frantically, she changes the scene on the wall again. This time, it’s one we’ve seen before, in Chat Blanc.
SHADOWMOTH:
I would put that Cataclysm away if I were you, Adrien.
BUNNYX swipes her hand across the image, showing CHAT BLANC sitting in the aftermath of his mega-cataclysm.
CHAT BLANC:
Little kitty on a roof, all alone without his lady.
BUNNYX steps away from the wall, shaking her head. She grabs her head in her hands, racking her brain for an answer.
BUNNYX:
How do I stop this from happening… Wait! I know exactly what to do.
BUNNYX pulls up a specific moment in time and walks out of her BURROW.
INT. MARINETTE’S BEDROOM - DAY
FLUFF:
Wait, is Marinette finally going on a date with Chat Noir?!
Suddenly, A hole in space-time appears and BUNNYX walks into the room.
MARINETTE:
Bunnyx? Is something wrong?
TIKKI:
I knew this was a bad idea.
BUNNYX:
Everything will be just fine. Let me see your notebook.
MARINETTE hands BUNNYX her NOTEBOOK. She flips through until she finds the DRAWING. Then she rips it out and hands it to MARINETTE.
BUNNYX:
Just make sure you leave this behind when you go on your date today.
BUNNYX opens up another hole and climbs through it back into her burrow before MARINETTE can respond. MARINETTE stomps a foot on the ground in frustration.
MARINETTE:
It is not a date!
KAALKI:
Are you sure about that, Marinette?
MARINETTE:
He’s just helping me study.
DAIZZI:
Ooh, a study date! How romantic.
INT. BUNNYX’S BURROW
BUNNYX takes a look around her burrow and visibly sighs when she notices all of the static is gone and the timeline seems to be back on track. She goes to brush a hand through her hair and flinches. We watch her hand disappear and then reappear.
BUNNYX:
What now? I thought I fixed everything!
She runs to the wall and presses her hand on it to reveal yet another scene. We see ADRIEN and MARINETTE at the movies. His arm is draped around her and her head is resting on his shoulder.
BUNNYX:
How did it happen this time?
She rewinds the scene on the wall and we zoom in.
INT. MARINETTE’S BEDROOM - DAY
ADRIEN and MARINETTE are playing video games in her room. ADRIEN is moving wildly with the controller and making determined faces while MARINETTE is playing calmly beside him. After a moment, both put down their controllers and cheer.
ADRIEN & MARINETTE:
Pound it!
Excitedly they share a fistbump. Then, both of them pause, eyes wide. Slowly, they turn to face each other.
ADRIEN:
Did we just?
MARINETTE:
Uh huh.
ADRIEN:
So, you’re Ladybug…
MARINETTE:
And you’re Chat Noir...
ADRIEN:
Do you want to keep playing, or-
MARINETTE:
I’m in love with you.
ADRIEN:
You are? Wait… I’ve had this dream before. I’m gonna wake up any minute now.
MARINETTE:
This definitely feels like a dream.
INT. BUNNYX’S BURROW
BUNNYX groans and facepalms.
BUNNYX:
How am I supposed to stop that from happening?!
BUNNYX paces back and forth, with one hand on her chin, until one of her legs vanishes and she falls over. Defeated, she doesn’t stand up. She lays down with a dead look in her eyes for a few moments before her eyes light up.
BUNNYX:
I got it!
BUNNYX Scrambles to her feet and walks through another hole.
INT. FRANCOIS DUPONT HIGHSCHOOL - LOCKER ROOM - DAY
BUNNYX stops in front of Adrien’s locker and knocks.
BUNNYX:
Plagg? Tikki? Please tell me you’re in there. I know you guys like to hang out in here.
(Beat.)
Guys, it’s Bunnyx. I need to talk to you. Our favorite child heroes are about to reveal their identities. Again.
PLAGG and TIKKI come out of Adrien’s locker. TIKKI looks worried. PLAGG looks annoyed.
PLAGG:
About that… Are we really sure they can’t reveal their identities? I mean what’s the worst that could happen? Wait, did you say again?
TIKKI:
I’m sure if Bunnyx is here to stop it from happening there’s a good reason, Plagg.
PLAGG:
It looks like you’re right, Sugarcube.
PLAGG gestures towards BUNNYX who is flailing her arms wildly in the space where her head should be.
TIKKI:
Do you think she’s okay?
BUNNYX’S head returns to normal and BUNNYX takes a few deep breaths with her hand on her chest.
BUNNYX:
Adrien and Marinette are hanging out tomorrow, right?
TIKKI:
Yes! Marinette’s very excited about it.
BUNNYX:
Okay, I need you both to distract them while they play video games. Whatever you do, do not let them pound it.
PLAGG:
THAT’S how they revealed their identities? Sheesh.
BUNNYX:
Do you think you can stop them?
TIKKI:
Of course! You can count on us.
INT. MARINETTE’S BEDROOM - DAY
Again we see ADRIEN and MARINETTE playing video games. This time, when they set their controllers down, a loud crash startles them and both turn their heads to see MARINETTE’s MANNEQUIN lying on the ground. They laugh it off and MARINETTE jumps to her feet to go and pick it up, but trips over ADRIEN’s feet. He grabs her, accidentally pulling her into his lap. Her face is bright red and she quickly pulls away from him. ADRIEN also appears a bit flustered.
ADRIEN:
Sorry about that Marinette… Are you okay?
MARINETTE:
(Through nervous laughter:)
Yeah, just keachy, I mean, just peachy. You should be sorry, I mean, there’s no need to be sorry! I’m gonna go pick that up now.
PLAGG and TIKKI are seen hiding behind the MIRROR.
PLAGG:
These two are hopeless.
TIKKI:
Everything will work out for them when the time is right. It’s not like it was smooth sailing for our past holders.
PLAGG:
Doesn’t make it any less annoying.
INT. BUNNYX’S BURROW
BUNNYX smiles at the screen and sighs in relief. She goes to open up another hole when her hand disappears and reappears once again, stopping her.
BUNNYX:
Oh, c’mon!
Visibly frustrated, BUNNYX walks back to another circle on the wall and reveals yet another scene.
BEGIN MUSICAL MONTAGE
EXT. STREETS OF PARIS - DAY
We see a shot of Gigantitan stomping down the street. ADRIEN leaves a photoshoot and finds an alleyway to transform in, only for MARINETTE to appear seconds after his transformation begins. She transforms as well and they both make their way onto a nearby roof to worry about Gigantitan, without stopping to acknowledge the reveal.
Cut to ADRIEN running into the alleyway to transform, again. This time we see a huffing BUNNYX direct MARINETTE to transform in another location.
INT. MARINETTE’S BEDROOM - NIGHT
Next we see MARINETTE working on a red and black jacket with a Ladybug patch on the chest. CHAT NOIR is seated, watching her and eating a croissant. MARINETTE moves her hands, explaining the design to CHAT NOIR and then holds up a handful of black circles, showing where she intends to place them. Suddenly, she transforms. CHAT NOIR stares at her wide-eyed and then his gaping mouth switches to a grin. LADYBUG looks at the ground, also wide-eyed, and places her hands in her hair.
Cut to MARINETTE, alone in her room, getting out her SUPPLIES. BUNNYX appears, with a dead look in her eyes, and grabs the black, circular fabric. She holds it up and shakes her head.
EXT. PARIS ROOFTOP - NIGHT
Next we see CHAT NOIR sitting on a roof, holding up MARINETE’S LUCKY CHARM, with a FULL MOON in the background. LADYBUG jumps onto the roof, beside him, and stares. She points to the LUCKY CHARM and her eyes dart back and forth from the charm, to him. She pulls out the lucky charm Adrien gave her.
Cut to the same shot of CHAT NOIR sitting on the roof with the LUCKY CHARM. This time, BUNNYX appears, hunched over and visibly exhausted. She gestures lamely at the charm. CHAT NOIR puts it away.
EXT. THE PLACE DES VOSGES - DAY
We see ADRIEN crouched over a box of kittens labelled “TAKE ONE”. Adrien reaches his hand inside to pet one and quickly pulls his hand back when one scratches him. MARINETTE and ALYA are nearby. ALYA shoves her towards ADRIEN and walks off, leaving them alone. MARINETTE walks up and reaches to pet a kitten. ADRIEN grabs her hand to stop her. Suddenly, he transforms. She gapes at him and he flashes a sheepish grin, letting go of her hand to wave at her.
Cut to BUNNYX alone in the park, dragging her feet as she carries the BOX OF KITTENS away. She has bags under her eyes.
END MUSICAL MONTAGE
EXT. ANIMAL SHELTER - DAY
BUNNYX walks out of an animal shelter and collapses on the stairs. She buries her face in her hands and begins to sob.
BUNNYX:
Please let that be the last time. I can’t do it again. I just need a break.
INT. SHADOWMOTH’S LAIR - DAY
SHADOWMOTH stands, holding his fan out in front of his face. He closes it as he spreads his arms out. In one hand, he holds a feather. In the other, a butterfly.
SHADOWMOTH:
I’ve never felt such overwhelming stress and exhaustion. Fly away my little akuma and show this amok the way to her weary soul!
We see an AKUMA and an AMOK fly out of each of SHADOWMOTH’s hands. He twirls his cane like a baton.
EXT. ANIMAL SHELTER - DAY
Both the AKUMA and AMOK fly into BUNNYX’s umbrella. She is engulfed in PURPLE AND BLACK SMOKE and when it disappears, WHITE RABBIT is sitting in her place on the stairs. WHITE RABBIT looks like BUNNYX except, her hair is white, her eyes are bright red, she wears a purple bow-tie around her neck and a red and white steampunk dress with golden gears on the brown corset. Floating above her, we see her SENTIMONSTER: A black, flying, cat-like creature with four arrows, like the fast forward and rewind buttons on a remote, on it’s stomach. We see the familiar GLOWING OUTLINE appear on her face as SHADOWMOTH communicates with her.
SHADOWMOTH:
White Rabbit, I am giving you the power to pause time. Your sentimonster, Chronocat, will help you to fast forward or rewind your frozen victims. In return I-
WHITE RABBIT:
“I just ask that you bring me Ladybug and Chat Noir’s Miraculous”, I know. I don’t need the whole speech, Gabe.
INT. SHADOWMOTH’S LAIR - DAY
SHADOWMOTH makes the same shocked expression he wore when Peggabug appeared above him and took his coffee cup in Sentibubbler.
SHADOWMOTH:
What did you just say?
EXT. ANIMAL SHELTER - DAY
WHITE RABBIT laughs.
WHITE RABBIT:
Chill out, Gabriel, I’m on your side right now.
INT. SHADOWMOTH’S LAIR - DAY
SHADOWMOTH:
How do you know my name? Who are you?
EXT. ANIMAL SHELTER - DAY
WHITE RABBIT:
That’s none of your concern at the moment. Right now, I just need you to let me do my thing. I’ll bring you Minibug and Kitty Noir’s Miraculous, don’t worry. Oh, and I won’t be needing this.
WHITE RABBIT holds up the UMBRELLA and the AMOK flies free as CHRONOCAT fades from existence. Then, the GLOWING OUTLINE around her face flickers and vanishes as if she broke the line of communication herself.
INT. SHADOWMOTH’S LAIR - DAY
SHADOWMOTH gasps and we see that same terrified expression on his face.
SHADOWMOTH:
No! That’s impossible!
EXT. ANIMAL SHELTER - DAY
WHITE RABBIT opens up a hole and steps through it. She returns almost immediately afterwards, bringing two TIMEBREAKERS with her. Then she walks through another hole and is gone again. This time, she returns with BACKWARDER. Again she leaves and returns with an akumatized villain, TIMETAGGER. TIMEBREAKERS are standing side by side, TIMETAGGER to their left and BACKWARDER to their right.
WHITE RABBIT:
Do you understand the plan, Time Trio?
TIMEBREAKER 1:
Should’ve went with “Continuum Colony” if you ask us.
TIMEBREAKER 2:
But don’t worry, we’ve got all our backs.
BACKWARDER:
I’ll play along if it means Ladybug will lead me to Fu.
TIMETAGGER:
Of course, Fluffy Tail, happy to be on the same team.
WHITE RABBIT:
The name’s White Rabbit, Chris.
INT. SHADOWMOTH’S LAIR - DAY
SHADOWMOTH wears a worried expression which quickly changes to a proud smile.
SHADOWMOTH:
White Rabbit might just be my most powerful creation yet.
END CREDITS PLAY

EXT. ANIMAL SHELTER - DAY
We open with a shot of TIME TRIO wreaking havoc on Paris. All across the streets CIVILIANS have been frozen in place by TIMETAGGERS and are slowly fading away, people, animals, and even objects have been hit by BACKWARDER and are moving backwards, and various monuments have been erected in the middle of walkways where TIMETAGGER has sent people into the past.
INT. AGRESTE MANSION - ADRIEN’S BEDROOM
We zoom out to reveal the same scene playing out on a news report by NADJA CHAMACK. WHITE RABBIT is nowhere to be seen.
NADJA CHAMACK:
A group of very powerful supervillains are terrorizing Paris. Ladybug and Chat Noir have not shown up yet. Parisians are advised to shelter in place.
ADRIEN:
Is that Timetagger? How is he back?
PLAGG:
How should I know? Maybe he took a detour to this time when you fought him before?
ADRIEN:
There’s no time to figure it out. Plagg, claws out!
CHAT NOIR TRANSFORMATION SEQUENCE PLAYS
CHAT NOIR runs and jumps out of his BEDROOM WINDOW.
INTRO SEQUENCE PLAYS
INT. MARINETTE’S BEDROOM - DAY
MARINETTE is watching the same newscast on her PHONE.
MARINETTE:
We couldn’t face Timetagger on our own before, how are we supposed to defeat all of these villains at once?
TIKKI:
It’s not like you have to do it on your own this time, either. I’m sure Bunnyx will be here to help again.
MARINETTE:
Good point, Tikki. Spots on!
LADYBUG TRANSFORMATION SEQUENCE PLAYS
LADYBUG makes her way onto her BALCONY.
EXT. MARINETTE’S BALCONY - DAY
LADYBUG calls CHAT NOIR.
LADYBUG:
Hey, Chat, meet me at the Eiffel tower.
CHAT NOIR:
Got it!
LADYBUG closes her PHONE and releases her YO-YO.
EXT. EIFFEL TOWER - DAY
LADYBUG and CHAT NOIR arrive at the EIFFEL TOWER at the same time.
CHAT NOIR:
What’s the plan, M’lady?
LADYBUG:
We’re going to need help for this one, Kitty. It’s too dangerous for us to fight them all alone. Except, this time, I’m not sure who to ask… I was hoping Bunnyx would’ve shown up by now.
CHAT NOIR:

LADYBUG suddenly pulls CHAT NOIR into a hug that he’s too shocked to return before she pulls away.
LADYBUG:
You’re a genius, Chat Noir! I’ll grab her and meet you back here!
LADYBUG swings away with her YO-YO, leaving behind a smiling CHAT NOIR. His smile falters when he hears a voice behind him. WHITE RABBIT points her WHITE UMBRELLA at him and a FLASH OF LIGHT hits him in the back. WHITE RABBIT smiles.
WHITE RABBIT:
You’re the cause of all my problems. But I won’t have to keep chasing after you if you’re stuck in time like this.
WHITE RABBIT reaches for his hand and grabs his miraculous. CHAT NOIR de-transforms, leaving ADRIEN in his place, stuck in the exact same position. She places the ring in her pocket and disappears back into her burrow.
EXT. SKATEPARK DE BERCY - DAY
Alix is skating around the roller rink with headphones on, absolutely vibing. LADYBUG waves at her and she takes her headphones off.
ALIX:
Hey, Ladybug! IS everything okay?
LADYBUG:
Haven’t you seen the news?
ALIX:
No, I’ve been busy trying to learn some rollerblading tricks. Wait, if you’re here to see me, does this mean what I think it means?
ALIX balls her hands into excited fists as she anticipates LADYBUGS reply. LADYBUG opens up her YO-YO and pulls out the RABBIT MIRACULOUS.
LADYBUG:
Alix Kubdel, this is the Miraculous of the rabbit which grants the power of time travel. You will use it for the greater good. Once the mission is over, you’ll return the Miraculous to
me.
ALIX takes the MIRACULOUS and holds it up in the air, jumping in victory.
ALIX:
Sweet! How do I use it?
FLUFF appears next to her.
FLUFF:
Just say, “Fluff, clockwise!”
ALIX:
Fluff, clockwise!
BUNNYX TRANSFORMATION SEQUENCE PLAYS
BABY BUNNYX looks similar to future BUNNYX. She sports a white bodysuit with black accents, matching those on future BUNNYX’S suit. It covers her legs but stops at the top of her chest. It has no straps but her arms are covered by a light blue tailcoat with black accents. Like future BUNNYX, there is a white ball on her collar. She takes a second to check out her outfit and then pats her umbrella against her hand excitedly.
BABY BUNNYX:
This is so awesome!
LADYBUG:
Listen, Bunnyx, Shadowmoth has somehow managed to bring back villains with time-related powers. Future Bunnyx is nowhere to be found. Chat Noir and I will need your help to beat them at their own game but, keep in mind that unlike your future self, your powers are limited. Once you use the watch to enter your burrow, you can move freely through time as many times as needed, but you’ll only have 5 minutes.
BABY BUNNYX:
Understood!
LADYBUG:
We need to get going, Chat Noir is waiting for us on the Eiffel Tower.
BABY BUNNYX:
Wait, like, at the top? How am I supposed to get up there? Do I have a yo-yo like you? Can my umbrella extend and hook onto buildings?
LADYBUG:
Oh… er- Here!
LADYBUG appears caught off guard for a moment before realization hits her. She pulls out a PURPLE MACARON and hands it to BABY BUNNYX.
LADYBUG (CONT.):
Eat this to power up. It will give you the ability to fly.
BABY BUNNYX:
Power up!
BABY BUNNYX pops the macaron into her mouth and QUICK TRANSFORMS into SPACE BUN. Her jetpack resembles swan wings and her suit is now a full light blue bodysuit with a white cloud pattern. Her helmet has blue bunny ears with pink on the insides.
SPACE BUN:
This is so cool!
LADYBUG throws her YO-YO and SPACE BUN flies after her.
EXT. EIFFEL TOWER - DAY
LADYBUG and SPACE BUN make their way onto the EIFFEL tower to see ADRIEN, frozen in time with a confused look on his face.
LADYBUG stares at him, with a sad yet confused face. Slowly, she walks towards him.
LADYBUG:
Adrien? No, this isn’t right. Chat Noir was supposed to be here. He was supposed to be here waiting for me, Adrien wouldn’t have had any way to get up here- The villains aren’t even on this side of town. How did they-
SPACE BUN:
Adrien Agreste is Chat Noir?!
Upon hearing SPACE BUN’S words, it suddenly clicks and we see the realization on LADYBUG’S face. LADYBUG hugs herself as she walks up to him, getting a good look at his face. She takes one hand from around her arm and places it on his cheek, still hugging herself with the other. Quickly she jerks her hand back and places it over her mouth, as if it hurt to touch him. We see tears welling up in her eyes.
LADYBUG:
This is my fault. He should have come with me; he already knows your identity. There was no reason for us to split up!
LADYBUG begins to step backwards as her tears fall.
LADYBUG:
I’m sorry, kitty.
A hole appears behind LADYBUG and WHITE LYNX(WHITE RABBIT has unified FLUFF and PLAGG off screen)appears behind her and reaches for her earrings. WHITE LYNX sports the same outfit as WHITE RABBIT except her dress and bowtie are white and the gears on her corset are black. She now has white cat ears with long strands of black hair on the tips and a white cat tail that looks identical to CHAT BLANC’s.
SPACE BUN:
Ladybug, watch out!
SPACE BUN warns LADYBUG at the exact moment WHITE LYNX grabs her earrings. SPACE BUN flies towards her past a now de-transformed MARINETTE, just in time to follow her back into the burrow.
MARINETTE:
NO!
MARINETTE reaches a hand up to touch her ears, now sobbing, and falls to her knees in utter defeat.
MARINETTE:
No.
INT. BUNNYX’S BURROW
SPACE BUN flies directly into WHITE LYNX, causing her to fall and knocking the earrings out of her hand. Both reach for them at the same time. SPACE BUN grabs one and WHITE LYNX grabs the other. Both stand.
WHITE LYNX:
Nice job, Mini Me, but how do you plan on getting the other one?
SPACE BUN:
I don’t. I just need to keep you from getting this one.
SPACE BUN opens up a hole and walks through before WHITE LYNX can follow her.
INT. SHADOWMOTH’S LAIR - DAY
Shadowmoth groans, holding a hand to his forehead. The outline flickers and disappears as he tries to communicate with his akumatized victim.
SHADOWMOTH:
How is this possible? I can’t reach her, yet the akuma hasn’t come back to me and there’s still no sign of Ladybug or Chat Noir!
EXT. EIFFEL TOWER - DAY
LADYBUG and CHAT NOIR are standing side by side.
CHAT NOIR:
If Bunnyx won’t come to us, maybe we should come to her. Do you think it might be time for Alix to get her Miraculous?
SPACE BUN appears behind them.
SPACE BUN:
I personally think that’s a great idea.
LADYBUG and CHAT NOIR turn to look at her, shocked.
SPACE BUN:
Listen, we don’t have much time. Future me has been akumatized. She’ll be here any minute now to take Chat Noir’s Miraculous. Chat, have your cataclysm ready. Ladybug, go get SPACE BUN.
LADYBUG:
On it!
LADYBUG jumps down without hesitation. CHAT NOIR is staring at SPACE BUN with an almost horrified look on his face.
CHAT NOIR:
What happened the first time she tried to take my Miraculous?
SPACE BUN:
I’ll explain everything later, right now I need you to stand here and have your cataclysm ready.
SPACE BUN points to where we saw CHAT NOIR frozen in place earlier. Chat Noir nods and makes his way over before crouching and guarding his dominant hand as he yells.
CHAT NOIR:
Cataclysm!
WHITE RABBIT appears and CHAT NOIR charges at her with his cataclysm. Her eyes widen. She ducks and summersaults underneath his arm, successfully dodging the cataclysm. CHAT NOIR runs forward, nearly hitting SPACE BUN. WHITE RABBIT retreats back into her BURROW.
SPACE BUN:
Nice! She didn’t get your Miraculous this time.
CHAT NOIR:
She actually took it before?
SPACE BUN:
Yeah, but don’t worry, I won’t tell anyone who you are.
SPACE BUN pulls out LADYBUG’S earring and jumps excitedly when it flashes and then disappears.
CHAT NOIR:
Wait, she had both of our Miraculous?!
LADYBUG and SPACE BUN 2 appear just in time to hear him. LADYBUG looks at SPACE BUN 1, visibly afraid.
SPACE BUN 1:
Don’t worry, Ladybug! I stopped her from getting them and I promise that your secrets are safe with me.
SPACE BUN 2:
Woah, that’s what I look like?! Oh man, this is amazing!
LADYBUG:
You can’t tell anyone. Not even us.
SPACE BUN 1:
You have my word.
CHAT NOIR:
So, ladies, what’s the plan?
LADYBUG:
I think we’re going to need more help… SPACE BUN, do you think you could bring Future Ladybug & Chat Noir here?
SPACE BUN 2:
On it!
LADYBUG:
And I think it’s about time I call for my… lucky charm!
LADYBUG summons her lucky charm and a JEWELRY BOX falls into her hands.
CHAT NOIR:
If you wanted a new piece of jewelry, I’d be happy to buy it for you, M’lady.
LADYBUG:
That won’t be necessary, Chat Noir. Although, I have no idea what I’m gonna do with this. I’ll figure it out later.
CHAT NOIR suddenly flashes a bright smile and jogs in place, excitedly. He lets out a little squeal. He isn’t looking at LADYBUG. LADYBUG turns around and follows his gaze to see FUTURE LADYBUG and FUTURE CHAT NOIR standing behind SPACE BUN. They don’t look drastically different from our present day heroes but, they are taller and more grown up. Ladybug’s hair is down and a bit shorter.
CHAT NOIR:
We look so cool in the future!
CHAT NOIR holds up a hand for a high five. It takes LADYBUG moment to stop staring but she eventually smacks her hand against his. We see a slight red tint to her cheeks.
FUTURE LADYBUG:
Aw, I forgot how cute we were!
FUTURE CHAT NOIR:
I forgot how short we were; look at mini Ma- Um, M-M’lady? Haha
FUTURE CHAT NOIR grins sheepishly, awkwardly scratching the back of his head. FUTURE LADYBUG glares at him. LADYBUG’s eyes widen and dart back and forth from FUTURE CHAT NOIR to CHAT NOIR. FUTURE CHAT NOIR’s face softens, knowingly. He steps forward and puts a hand on LADYBUG’S shoulder.
FUTURE CHAT NOIR:
Calm down, Minibug. It’s okay.
CHAT NOIR:
Did I miss something?
FUTURE LADYBUG:
Don’t worry about it, Kitty Cat. Minibug, did you have a plan yet?
LADYBUG shakes her head.
LADYBUG:
You are the plan. Did Space Bun explain the situation?
FUTURE CHAT NOIR:
Yes. We need to send the villains back to the time they came from without deevilizing them, except for White Rabbit.
FUTURE LADYBUG:
Minibug, you’ll stay here. Be on guard, White Rabbit will target you. Kitty cat, we’ll need you to lure Timetagger away from the others.
CHAT NOIR:
Your wish is my command.
SPACE BUN 1’s Miraculous begins to beep. FUTURE LADYBUG hands her a carrot.
FUTURE LADYBUG:
Go ahead and recharge. We all know who you are.
SPACE BUN 1:
Fluff, counterclockwise.
SPACE BUN 1 detransforms and feeds the carrot to Fluff.
FUTURE CHAT NOIR:
Space Bun and Baby Bun, we’ll need you both to watch us from the burrow and be ready to send the villains back to their times. Wait until I’ve got both Timebreakers tailing me.
ALIX quick transforms off screen.
FUTURE LADYBUG:
I’ll go after Backwarder. Baby Bun, you watch me. Space Bun, you watch Chat. Be careful, White Rabbit could show up in the burrow with you, too. We’ll regroup and handle Timetagger together.
SPACE BUN & BABY BUNNYX:
Got it!
The team disperses. FUTURE LADYBUG, FUTURE CHAT NOIR, and CHAT NOIR all make their way onto nearby buildings to find their marks. SPACE BUN heads into the BURROW and BABY BUNNYX follows her. LADYBUG stands with her YO-YO in hand, ready to attack, but not quite in a battle stance. CHAT NOIR spots TIMETAGGER terrorizing a group of CIVILIANS. He hops down, a safe distance away and catches his attention.
CHAT NOIR:
Hey, Timetagger! You’re it!
EXT. A PARIS STREET - SUNSET
TIMETAGGER stops and immediately redirects his attention to CHAT NOIR, who has already taken off. CHAT NOIR bounds from building to building. TIMETAGGER follows after, using his timegun to disappear and reappear at will. He shoots his gun at CHAT repeatedly, but CHAT successfully dodges all of his hits.
INT. SHADOWMOTH’S LAIR - SUNSET
SHADOWMOTH:
Finally, one of them has come out to play.
EXT. ANOTHER PARIS STREET - SUNSET
FUTURE LADYBUG lands on a building and looks down at BACKWARDER. Everyone around her is moving backwards. Cars are going backwards. Several have crashed. It’s complete Chaos. She is standing calmly in the middle of it, waiting.
FUTURE LADYBUG:
Hey, Backwarder! You want me to take you to Fu? Let’s get going!
BACKWARDER:
You’re older in this time, but that won’t stop me, Ladybug!
BACKWARDER jumps onto the building and follows her. Suddenly, she disappears into the BURROW. BABY BUNNYX appears behind her and follows after.
INT. BUNNYX’S BURROW
BABY BUNNYX pushes BACKWARDER from behind, through a hole, and successfully lands her back in her own time. BABY BUNNYX and SPACE BUN high five.
INT. SHADOWMOTH’S LAIR
SHADOWMOTH:
It seems they brought reinforcements. Go ahead, Ladybug, Backwarder may have been easy for you but I doubt you’ll hold a candle to my White Rabbit.
EXT. EIFFEL TOWER - SUNSET
FUTURE LADYBUG lands next to LADYBUG and looks around, suspiciously.
FUTURE LADYBUG:
White Rabbit hasn’t shown up yet?
LADYBUG:
Nope.
WHITE LYNX:
Looking for me?
Suddenly, WHITE LYNX appears on the other side of the EIFFEL TOWER.
LADYBUG:
White Lynx? But SPACE BUN stopped you from getting the Cat Miraculous…
WHITE LYNX:
She did, but I didn’t disappear. Which means if I hit you with my cataclysm…
When she says the word, her power activates and we see a ball of white light in her hands.
WHITE LYNX:
I bet she won’t disappear, either!
EXT. A THIRD PARIS STREET - SUNSET
FUTURE CHAT NOIR is running full speed while the TIMETAGGERS skate after him. SPACE BUN pops in front of them and they skate into the BURROW.
INT. BUNNYX’S BURROW
The TIMETAGGERS skate straight out into an already opened exit and back into their own time. SPACE BUN walks back into the burrow.
SPACE BUN:
That was too easy!
BABY BUNNYX:
We’re not out of the woods yet, Ladybugs need our help!
SPACE BUN and BABY BUNNYX exit the BURROW.
EXT. A PARIS ROOFTOP - SUNSET
CHAT NOIR dives off the roof, blocking an attack from TIMETAGGER. TIMETAGGER follows after him but looks surprised when he’s not there.
EXT. A PARIS STREET - SUNSET
FUTURE CHAT NOIR and CHAT NOIR jump from building to building. CHAT NOIR’S ring beeps.
EXT. EIFFEL TOWER - SUNSET
WHITE LYNX charges at LADYBUG. LADYBUG hooks her YO-YO to the other side of the tower, flying over WHITE LYNX’s head. FUTURE LADYBUG wraps WHITE LYNX in her YO-YO. She hits it with a cataclysm and the string breaks. She turns and charges at LADYBUG again. SPACE BUN and BABY BUNNYX pull her into the BURROW before she can reach her.
FUTURE LADYBUG:
Wait, No!
FUTURE CHAT NOIR and CHAT NOIR land next to them.
FUTURE CHAT NOIR & CHAT NOIR:
What happened?
INT. BUNNYX’s BURROW
WHITE RABBIT and WHITE LYNX stand across from SPACE BUN and BABY BUNNYX. SPACE BUN’S Miraculous beeps.
WHITE RABBIT:
You’re running out of time, Mini-me. What are you going to do without your powers?
BABY BUNNYX:
Do you really want to fight us? We’re you!
WHITE LYNX:
Y’know what? You’re right.
SPACE BUN:
Wait, really?
WHITE LYNX exits the BURROW and reappears behind SPACE BUN and BABY BUNNYX before firing two quick shots at them with her UMBRELLA.
WHITE LYNX:
I just need to put you both on pause.
SPACE BUN opens up a hole. BABY BUNNYX pulls out her UMBRELLA and shoves WHITE LYNX through.
WHITE RABBIT:
There’s no time to freeze here. I should’ve seen that coming.
She exits the BURROW. SPACE BUN and BABY BUNNYX follow after her.
EXT. EIFFEL TOWER - SUNSET
FUTURE LADYBUG stands between both CHAT NOIRS and both VILLAINS. SPACE BUN and BABY BUNNYX stand between the VILLAINS and LADYBUG. All are posed, ready to attack. LADYBUG’S Miraculous beeps.
FUTURE LADYBUG:
Mini’s, you take White Rabbit! Chat and I will handle White Lynx.
WHITE RABBIT aims her UMBRELLA at CHAT NOIR who dive rolls away from the blast. LADYBUG wraps WHITE RABBIT in her YO-YO, like FUTURE LADYBUG did to WHITE LYNX before. CHAT NOIR charges at her and cataclysms her UMBRELLA. The AKUMA flies out and LADYBUG captures it.
LADYBUG:
No more evil-doing for you little akuma. Time to deevilize! Gotcha. Bye bye little butterfly.
WHITE LYNX darts towards FUTURE CHAT NOIR, catclysm in hand. He sends a black blast at her. She sidesteps and dodges.
FUTURE LADYBUG:
Lucky charm!
A stopwatch falls into her hands. She tosses it to FUTURE CHAT NOIR.
FUTURE LADYBUG:
Catch, Kitty!
FUTUTE CHAT NOIR catches the watch and swings it at WHITE LYNX as she tries to hit him with her CATACLYSM. She hits the WATCH instead and it falls to the ground, shattered. FUTURE CHAT NOIR grabs her UMBRELLA with his free hand and it turns to dust at his touch. The AKUMA flies out and FUTURE LADYBUG captures it.
FUTURE LADYBUG:
Time to deevilize! Gotcha. Bye bye little butterfly.
CHAT NOIR, SPACE BUN, and BABY BUNNYX all clap. LADYBUG looks at them and then claps, too. FUTURE CHAT NOIR holds up open palms by his mouth.
FUTURE CHAT NOIR:
Woohoo!
FUTURE LADYBUG laughs.
BUNNYX 1:
Don’t get excited yet, we still have to get Timetagger.
FUTURE LADYBUG offers BUNNYX 2 a hand, which she takes and stands.
BUNNYX 2:
I think you and I should handle that, since we caused this mess.
BUNNYX 1 nods. Both enter the BURROW and then return a mere second after they left.
BUNNYX 1:
Okay, now we can let the Miraculous Ladybugs work their magic.
LADYBUG pulls out her LUCKY CHARM and FUTURE LADYBUG grabs her hand.
FUTURE LADYBUG:
Have you figured out what it means yet?
LADYBUG:
Not yet… Can I get a hint?
FUTURE LADYBUG:
The hint is… it is a hint.
FUTURE LADYBUG picks up the broken WATCH.
FUTURE LADYBUG & LADYBUG:
Miraculous Ladybug!
The Miraculous ladybugs fix all of the damage caused by the villains. SPACE BUN and BUNNYX 1 disappear.
FUTURE LADYBUG:
Do you wanna do the honors, Minibug?
LADYBUG, now wearing her GUARDIAN SUIT, pulls a blue charm out of her YO-YO and hands it BUNNYX.
LADYBUG:
Keep this with you at all times… Well, you know the drill.
BUNNYX:
Thanks.
ALL:
POUND IT!
We see a shot of all of their fists.
LADYBUG, CHAT NOIR, and BABY BUNNYX all begin to beep. CHAT NOIR looks back and forth between them, distressed.
CHAT NOIR:
Can we… feed our kwami’s and meet you guys back here before you go?
FUTURE CHAT NOIR and FUTURE LADYBUG share a look.
FUTURE LADYBUG:
Sure. Baby Bun can stay, though.
LADYBUG and CHAT NOIR jump off the TOWER and head in separate directions.
INT. SHADOWMOTH’S LAIR
A single white butterfly flies through the window and SHADOWMOTH grips his cane tightly.
SHADOWMOTH:
What happened? How could such a powerful villain have failed me? One of these days, I will find the perfect villain and I will seize the Ladybug and Cat Miraculous.
The window to his LAIR closes.
EXT. EIFELL TOWER - NIGHT
BABY BUNNYX detransforms and FUTURE LADYBUG tosses her another carrot.
FUTURE CHAT NOIR:
Hey, Alix? Now that you know our identities, we want to make sure you don’t get any ideas.
ALIX:
You can trust me! I would never tell anyone.
BUNNYX:
That’s not what they mean, Mini-me.
FUTURE LADYBUG:
If you know our identities, that means you know that we’re in love with each other… and that we’re never going to figure it out as we are now- well, then.
FUTURE CHAT NOIR:
The order of events with us is… delicate. So don’t try to push it, okay?
ALIX:
Of course not. You guys will figure it out in time.
FUTURE LADYBUG:
We knew you’d understand.
FUTURE CHAT NOIR gently grabs FUTURE LADYBUG’S head and pulls her in, kissing the side of her head. Blushing, she pushes him away.
FUTURE LADYBUG:
You too, Adrien! What if we see us?
FUTURE CHAT NOIR:
Relax, Marinette! We’re off talking to our kwami’s about how awesome we’ll be in the future. Don’t act like you didn’t see the look on Minibug’s face.
FUTURE CHAT NOIR playfully elbows FUTURE LADYBUG.
BUNNYX:
Y’know, just because you guys can act like this in front of us, doesn’t mean you should.
FUTURE LADYBUG:
Don’t try and pretend like you don’t think we’re adorable.
LADYBUG and CHAT NOIR land in front of their future selves.
LADYBUG:
We’re back!
CHAT NOIR:
Do you guys have any advice you can give us? Or any helpful hints about future events?
FUTURE LADYBUG looks at LADYBUG with a serious expression.
FUTURE LADYBUG:
You might feel like the world is going to end at any moment, but we made it through. So you will too.
FUTURE CHAT NOIR looks at CHAT NOIR with his signature sad eyebrows.
FUTURE CHAT NOIR:
Remember that you’re not alone because you have each other. Even when it feels like you don’t.
BUNNYX:
Okay, that’s enough you two. Let’s get you back to your own time before you really do end the world.
CHAT NOIR:
What? Already?!
LADYBUG:
They have lives to get back to, y’know? Our lives.
CHAT NOIR slouches a bit and makes a pouty face. BUNNYX, FUTURE CHAT NOIR, and FUTURE LADYBUG disappear into BUNNYX’S BURROW.
ALIX:
So… Do I need to power up again to get down from here?
LADYBUG:
No, I can carry you down. If you’d like?
ALIX:
Sure!
CHAT NOIR:
Wait- Alix… Do you remember everything that happened?
LADYBUG:
What’s seen can’t be unseen.
ALIX:
Don’t worry, you can trust me.
Alix holds out her MIRACULOUS for LADYBUG to take. She reaches for it, then stops.
LADYBUG:
Actually, keep it. I think that’s what my lucky charm was trying to tell me. It’s time for you to be a permanent holder.
CHAT NOIR gapes at them but doesn't say anything.
ALIX:
Really?! This is the coolest day of my life!
LADYBUG covers her mouth and gives a short laugh.
LADYBUG:
I trust that you’ll use this responsibly.
CHAT NOIR:
Not that I don’t trust Alix, M’lady, but are you sure this is a good idea? She gets to know both of our identities and be a full time holder? You don’t even know my identity.
LADYBUG:
Bunnyx already is a full time holder who knows our identities and I trust her.
CHAT NOIR: Wait, she does?!
LADYBUG:
Oh… I forgot; you weren’t there. You don’t know that… Yeah, she told me.
CHAT NOIR stares at her, silently.
LADYBUG:
Chat Noir, are you okay?
CHAT NOIR: Yeah. I’ll see you later.
CHAT NOIR leaves.
INT. BUNNYX’S BURROW.
BUNNYX steps into her burrow and covers her mouth as she yawns. She looks around, warily. All of the images are in tact. She looks at her hands, touches her head, and finally brings a hand to her chest as she sighs in relief. She lays down on the invisible floor and falls asleep.
