Loki had a wonderful life at the TVA, almost perfect. He had wonderful friends like Sylvie and had actually befriended some TVA agents, a wonderful house, a beautiful garden. And don’t get him started on his outstanding boyfriend Mobius, Loki never thought he would meet someone who cared for him as much as Mobius did. There was just one problem.
His attack on New York.
Ever since he came to the TVA and got the emotional help he needed, he felt an enormous amount of guilt, especially for going against his brother, who at times he hated but truly loved. Everyone in his life has tried to tell him over and over again that he can’t change the past, and he needs to let go, but he couldn’t. All he wishes he could do was at least apologise.

One evening, Loki had come home from a very tiring day at the TVA to be greeted by the smell of barbecue.
His favourite.
He walked out to the backyard to see Mobius on one of the couches on the patio reading a book while he could hear the sizzling of sausages, steak, pork, and potatoes on the grill. Once Mobius saw Loki walk out, he closed his book and got up to give Loki a hug.
“Hello sweetheart” Mobius said after giving Loki a kiss on the cheek, “Hey Moby, what's all this about?” Loki asked while leaning more into Mobius.
Mobius then pulled out of the hug and lead Loki to the couch.“Well, you’ve made a lot of progress in your therapy sessions. Plus, it’s been a year since you came to the TVA. Well not a year, no time has passed, but at the same time is passing all the time really fast, but other times it’s going backwards- sorry I’m rambling. Just know it’s been a while, so I talked to Ravonna, and she’s letting us go to earth, and the barbecue I thought would be a nice treat.”
“Aww, thank you Moby, that's very thoughtful, but why are we going to Midgard?” Loki asked confused, “You’re always saying how much you want to say sorry for New York” Mobius said as he gently grabbed Loki's hand and softly rubbed Loki’s knuckles with his thumb.
Loki was taken back before stuttering out “T-thats wonderful, b-but what if they don’t wanna see me, what am I saying they definitely d-don’t wanna see me, what if they t-try to kill me, I mean I would deserve it bu-” Loki was soon interrupted by Mobius kissing him. “Loki you don’t deserve anything, and if you really don’t wanna go you don’t have to, but I think it’ll be good for you in the long run” Mobius said with a soft smile.
“I guess you're right, but how will everything work out”
“Don’t worry about that, me and Ravonna worked everything out” Mobius kissed his forehead then got up to check the food on the grill.

The next morning at the Avenger’s compound in the living room, Tony was leaning back against Steve's chest, who was leaning back on the couch. Tony was reading over some blueprints for Peter's suit, who had a controller in hand playing Mario Kart with Steve, Sam, and Bucky. Thor and Bruce were in the kitchen, Bruce was trying to teach Thor how to bake, who was doing pretty good so far. While Natasha, Wanda, Clint, and Vision were playing chess.
That's when F.R.I.D.A.Ys voice filled the room, “Mr Stark, Captain Rogers, Mr Odinson, Dr Banner, Agent Romanoff, and Agent Barton your presence is requested in conference room 287”
Tony was confused because all meeting were scheduled beforehand, so he asked “Fri, who is it?”
“He says his name is Mobius”
“What’s he here for?”
“He says it's a private matter”
“Okay thank-you Fri”
~Meanwhile in conference room 287~
“Maybe I should not be here- maybe I should leave, no no I need to stay- I’ll just hide somewhere” Loki said freaking out, while walking back and forth “Loki-baby it’ll be okay” Mobius tried to stop Loki from walking, so he could pull him into a hug, but he soon pulled away and made a bee-line for the closet.
“I’m gonna hide in the closet until the presentation's done” (Basically, their plan was to show a presentation explaining everything about the TVA and Loki). “Haven’t you already spent enough time in the closet,” Mobius chuckled out, Loki then gave him a glare which shut him up.

Steve was the first to walk in, he took a seat at the front of the table, everyone else filing in.
“Okay hello everyone my name is Mobius, and I’m from the TVA which stands for The Time Variance Authority, but I’ll leave that to Miss Minutes to explain”
“Who’s Miss Minu-?” Clint was about to ask but got interuppered by her.
Everyone watched with open eyes as she explained the TVA and Loki. By the time she was done, everyone's jaws were wide, and they were all wearing the same shocked/confused Expression on their face. “Now time for questions” Thor was the first to speak up.
“So Loki’s not dead?”
“Yep” Miss Minutes answered.
Everyone then asked their own questions.
“So he’s alive and breathing?”
“Yes”
“So, like for sure not dead?”
“Yes, we are sure”
“So you guys are like the time police?”
“Yes, if you’d like to put it that way”
“So he didn’t fake his death?”
“No, he did not”
“Are you sure it’s Loki?, like are you sure you got Loki” B
“Yes, we are sure we have the Loki from your timeline”
“So where is he?
“In that closet right over there”
Loki cursed under his breath and made a mental note to have a word with Miss Minutes. “I guess it’s now or never,” Loki mentally said to himself. Loki slowly turned the door nob and revealed himself to the rest of the room,
All the avenger's eye shot open and if possible their eyes opened even wider. “Umm hi I know this is very random and maybe scary, but I just wanted to apologise for what happened at New York a-and I know your not gonna accept my apology, but I just thought it would be the right thing to do, I am genuinely sorry for what I did and the problems I caused for you guys”
They all just stared at each other in silence for a while, the first to speck up was Steve, “Umm Loki we appreciate your apology, but umm could you give us a moment to collect are selves”
“Yes, of course” Loki and Mobius then left the room and left the avengers.
“I mean, this has to be some sort of trick, right?” Clint asked, “Duh birdy” Tony answered “I don’t know, he seemed kinda genuine and sad, plus if TVA are all real which I’m pretty sure is, Loki’s been getting the help he needs then maybe this isn’t a trick” Bruce cut in. “I have to agree with Banner on this one,” Nat agreed.
“I have an idea” Thor’s voice boomed across the room before getting up and heading out the room.
Once Thor saw Loki, he threw his shoe at him, “Ow”
“Oh my god, it really is you brother” Thor told him before engulfing him in a bone crushing hug “Yea it is me” Loki said out of air and tried his best to hug Thor back.
“I accept your apology on one condition you have to visit me at least twice a month, oh how much I’ve missed you brother” Loki's heart hurt a little at hearing how much Thor missed him. “It’s a deal”
And that's how Loki’s life was from that day forward, he would visit twice a month and have a great time with Thor it Obviously took a long time for all The Avengers to accept his apology, but he wouldn't have it any other way.
His life was perfect.
