Work Text:
He's made up his mind.
Scott hated Twitter.
He's seen it all before with a variety of other content creators, some for valid reasons, some for less so.
But people will always hold that grudge.
And when they do, it stings.
Their words. Their actions. Just... everything. After MCC 14 and Ace Race, it just left Scott feeling very shitty.
And that's how Scott ends up at a bus stop in the pouring rain.
"Well, my friend, you seem like you've seen better days," a lady in a cloak leaning on the covering to the bus stop says. "Hard life?"
Scott chuckles, "Yea, a little bit."
She gives a devilish grin. "I have a plan. If this doesn't work within a month, come back to this same bus stop and I will reverse it. Get it? Got it? Good." She takes out a glass bottle and tosses it at him.
~~
Scott must have blacked out after that. And when he came to, the world seems much... bigger. He tries to speak but the only thing that came out was a meow. He tries to look down at himself.
Oh my god.
He's a cat.
And that's when the bus rolls up and someone with shaggy purple hair steps off, satchel hanging off their shoulder. They notice Scott. "Aww... hey little buddy, are you lost? You look lonely sitting out in the cold. Do you wanna come home with me?"
He didn't completely know why, but he felt a pull to follow them.
They pick him up. "Hi there, little guy. My name's Vio. Lemme get you somewhere better than out here."
~~
Eventually being human faded into the back of his mind along with the witch. He'd been taken to a group house with what seemed like a revolving cast of people.
They were all friendly of course. But they definitely did have their quirks.
~~
Sadie walked up to the couch and sat down next to Scott.
"Alright, Scott. I need your advice. Should I continue the Losing Game AU even though it's completely off from the plot of Empires due to how old it is?"
"Meow."
"Great! Thanks, Scott!"
~~
Pyrite walks over from the drawing room, tablet in hand.
"Hey Scott, what do you think about this?"
They hold out a picture of Joey in his Empires skin, wings fully exposed, and scantily clad. “It’s a pinup Joey! You like it?”
He hisses.
Pyrite grins. “Exactly the reaction I wanted! Thanks, Scott!”
~~
Fin walks over to the corner where Scott was hiding.
“And how’s the prettiest kitty in the- Scott what’s in your mouth. Scott. Scott! Spit it out! Spit it out!”
~~
A group of them walk into the room, shouting at each other. Don’t they know they’re interrupting his beauty sleep? No respect!
One of them gets down to his level and looks him directly in the eyes.
”Scott. Which mob would you want to fuck the most.”
He just meows in reply.
They continue to argue.
That was a very weird day.
~~
It was supposed to another lazy day in the life of a cat until he realized.
He wasn’t a cat anymore. The cat was on top of him and looked like his childhood cat, Elle.
The youngest of the group, Kiki, walks into the living room.
“Why the fuck is Scott Smajor in our living room. ZLIX!”
”WHY IS IT ALWAYS MY FAULT”
Vio walks up next to Kiki. “Huh. Wasn’t expecting this today.”
”Uhh... meow?”
“Wait... were you the cat?” Vio questioned him.
He awkwardly grins, “Uhhh... yea. Pleaseletmestayhereyou’reverynice.”
By that time more people had gathered, causing a bit of a frenzy.
”Did I tell Scott fucking Smajor to spit, I cannot believe-“ Fin has a crisis.
But, Scott is allowed to stay with them, with the group willing to keep his secret in exchange for him keeping a few of theirs.
Plus, the group had some damn good writers and artists who weren’t willing to touch Twitter with a 12 foot pole and he didn’t want to miss THAT.
