Hei-Pao-Shi-Ge rises from the shadows at the corners of the room during nighttime.
A small figure, drowning under his dark coat and hiding behind his beautiful, black mask. Long hair spilling like ink over the wooden floor.
Gege doesn't smile unless Zhao Yunlan does, he only moves to mirror him and he never shows in front of the adults.
“What are you doing?” Asks Zhao Yunlan one night, frowning as Gege tilts his head in confusion, just like himself.
“Learning”. Answers the other child, the tips of his fingers gracing Zhao Yulan’s own.
Just before he grabs them.
