"Jeff just do it! What's the worse that can happen?" Tom threw a glove at Jeff who was pacing in the snow, next to the bench.
"Well what do I say then?" Jeff huffed and sat next to Tom.
"I, Jeffrey Lynne am confessing my undying love to you, Roy Kelton Orbison!" Tom leaned his head onto Jeff's shoulders, rather dramatically holding his arm out.
"Shut up he's over there, he's gonna hear you" Jeff, as gently as he could, shoved Tom off of him before looking over at Roy.
It was still surreal to Jeff that he even knew Roy, let alone was in the same band and lived with him. Roy was so wonderful to him, outside of his mysterious depressing image he was perfect, he spoke so softly and was always polite, he was always excited to talk about his planes, Jeff would always let him.
"It's a b-17!" Roy was wearing his normal glasses instead of his sunglasses, his eyes looked almost grey in the lighting, he was wearing a green sweater that went well with his hair, the roots had started to fade back into brown-
"EARTH TO JEFFREY, STOP IGNORING ME!" Tom shouted into Jeff's ear, making him jump before realising it was just Tom.
"Shut up" Jeff couldn't think of anything else to say, still captivated by Roy, who was making a snowman.
"Jeff, its Roy who you've fallen for, even if he doesn't like you back he won't care" Tom put a hand on Jeff's shoulder. Jeff was more weirded out that Tom gave good advice.
"And if you don't I'm straightening your hair" Tom grinned at Jeff, who rolled his eyes but stood up, trudging toward Roy who was trying to fix his snowman's eyes.
"Hi Jeff" Roy smiled at Jeff, most of his hair was covered by his hat, part of his face was also covered with his scarf, he knew Roy had knitted them himself along with the matching gloves.
Roy was more confused as to why Jeff was standing next to him, staring into space.
"Jeff? Are you okay?" Roy held Jeff's hand, raising an eyebrow as Jeff turned beet red and looked at him. They stood in a strange silence for a few moments before Jeff managed to break it.
"I love you?"
"Oh?" Roy rubbed his thumb over Jeff's knuckles.
"I uhm yeah, I get it if you don't like me back-"
"I love you too" Roy cut Jeff off, noting that Jeff was grinning yet still blushing.
"-Bullseye!" They both turned to see Tom grinning and the snowman's head on the ground, Roy watched Jeff chase Tom before they both fell into each other into a pile of snow.
