Chapter Text
It was a beautiful day in London. Everyone in Camden town is going about their day, both human and animal. Especially in 101 Dalmatian Street, which was the noisiest home of all. Inside said home, Dylan was currently trying to clean, trying being the key word. His sister Dolly was making things difficult as usual.
"Dolly, for the love of dog, just let me clean." Yelled Dylan.
"No way bro, I'm too busy practicing my moves." Responded Dolly.
Dolly and Dylan were the oldest pups of the house and the most opposite pair of siblings you will ever see. Today was the textbook definition of normal in the Dalmatian house, but soon, things would take a very interesting turn.
"Please Dolly, I need to clean up before mum and dad get home."
"I need to clean up before mum and dad get home." repeated Dolly in a mocking tone.
This leads to a whole back and forth argument that lasts for a good 5 minutes. The rest of the Dalmatian family comes out to watch, supporting both sides as they try to out-insult one another.
Meanwhile, just outside of their house, a portal suddenly appears, swirling with a golden energy. Then, out of the portal steps a small Pomeranian, one with black and tan fur, and wearing glasses.
That Pomeranian is me.
The portal then snaps shut behind me, leaving no evidence it was ever there in the first place.
"Hmm, very interesting". I say, adjusting my glasses.
As I look around, I immediately notice the house in front of where I came in. It looked to be a standard row house, indicating that I was in England. This one however had all manner of stuff hanging from the windows, splotches of color over the bricks, and most notably, had a very loud argument coming from inside.
"Well, this seems like a good place to start. I should probably figure out who is arguing in here".
I then proceeded to walk up to the front door of the house. It is there that I notice a small pad with a pawprint on it. I look at it more closely before saying, "Hmm, Bioscan lock, very interesting."
After doing a quick scan and seeing just how many dogs were in this house, as well as a lack of any humans, I knock on the door.
Meanwhile, Dylan and Dolly are continuing their insult driven battle, with their parents Doug and Delilah having recently come home to try and stop them, when they are interrupted by a knock on the door.
"Were you expecting someone?" asks Dolly.
"No, I wasn't." responds Dylan.
They looked towards the door, curious as to who could be knocking, and began to slowly walk towards it.
“Beware!” suddenly said Dante, a black Dalmatian with white and purple spots, “Open that door, and doom will befall us all.”
Dylan and Dolly simply ignored him, and shakily made their way towards the door. As they make it to the door, Dylan slowly puts his paw to the scanner, which whirrs for a second as then turns green and unlocks the door.
Imagine their surprise when the door opens, and they see a Pomeranian wearing glasses standing on the other side.
The looks on their faces as they look at the little dog standing before them is a mixture of shocked and confused.
“Right”, I say, “I think I should probably explain things.”
Dylan then comes a bit closer and asks, “Who are you?”
“My name is Little Star of the Cozmos, or just Cozmo for short, but you can call me Lugh, and you are?”
“I’m Dylan, this is Dolly.” Dylan says, gesturing over to Dolly, who was currently in a defensive position.
“Well, it is a pleasure to meet both of you.”
After introductions were out of the way, Doug, Delilah, and all the other puppies came out to see what was going on. When they all laid eyes on Lugh, their expressions were just as shocked and confused as ours.
“My name is Lugh, it is a pleasure to meet all of you.”
Once their shocked expressions faded away, Delilah spoke up.
“Why are you here?”
“Well, I just arrived, and I couldn’t help but notice the sound of arguing coming from here.”
Dylan and Dolly looked at each other before Dylan says, “That was kinda our fault, we got into a big argument after Dolly messed up my cleaning.”
“I was just trying to practice my moves, but you got in the way." says Dolly.
“That is enough, both of you.” I say, causing them to stop arguing. “Surely there is some compromise you two can make.”
They look up at me in surprise, before eventually looking at each other.
“I suppose I can practice in other places,” said Dolly, looking guilty.
“And I can hold off cleaning when you decide to practice inside,” said Dylan, with an equally guilty look.
With just those two sentences, the rest of the dalmatian family are immediately shocked.
One of them, one with black spots over both of his eyes, spots on his cheeks that resembled freckles, and a molecule collar, stepped forward with that shocked look still on his face.
“How? How did you do that? Nobody can stop their arguments.” asked Dawkins.
“Well”, Lugh responded, “I am used to breaking up arguments like this.”
“Well I must say, I am impressed.”
“Well, thank you. Seeing as how I will be here for a while before continuing on my travels, would you mind if I stayed here?"
"Of course not", said Delilah, "We could use someone like you around here to help keep everyone in line."
And with that, I became an unofficial member of the family. 101 Dalmatians, and 1 Deer.
