Chapter Text
It was past 6:30 pm. You sat on one of McDonald's tables, taking a bite from a Big Mac you had in hand. You liked eating during this time. You were insanely broke, so the discounts here were nice. But good things always had to end. You watched as the mascots had came out. There were only ever two mascots around this time; Ronald and Mac Tonight. Ronald mostly focused on the energetic children that were still in the building, while Mac Tonight focused his attention on the adults. That's who he was advertised for, after all. And it worked. Ladies swooned over Mac Tonight's charming voice and personality. Their husbands were no different. Mac had basically everyone wrapped around his finger. So it wasn't surprising when you saw the moon headed man confidently making his way over to you. He sat down in the seat across you. He reeked of cigarettes. It might as well be his cologne, because you literally suffocated in the smell of smoke.
"Hey, Babe! What's a pretty thing like you doing alone?" Mac Tonight asked, his voice beaming with confidence. And that meant his voice was loud. It could probably gain attention of people nearby, including people that were jealous that Mac gave them nothing but a quick glance.
"Do you have a stick up your ass, or is that your natural voice?" You responded. It seemed to really irk Mac.
"You never answered my question."
"I like being alone." What was with this guy? You took a bite from your Big Mac. But of course, Mac had to ruin your appetite.
"Y'know... I can give you something else that's big." Mac Tonight cooed, taking your hand into his and pressing a light kiss on it. You grimaced. At first, you thought Mac was just a guy in a suit. But his hand felt like a rock (literally), and the way his face changes with each word and expression was scarily convincing.
"No thanks." Was all you responded with, pulling your hand away. Mac seemed insulted. But he didn't seemed to learn. He continued pressing his luck.
"Oh come on, Honey! I'm attractive... You're attractive... How about one night, hm? Wouldn't it be nice to have your pleasures fulfilled once in a while?"
"Still not into that stuff." You said. Jeez. Mac Tonight was trying too hard to get you in bed with him. You got up from your seat.
"Where ya going, babe?"
"I'm leaving." Mac seemed surprised when you said those two words. Did he really think you'd fall for his charm? Well he was wrong.
"Leaving? Alone? You know how sketchy this area is!" Mac Tonight also got up, hurrying his way towards you. He held his hand out. "Let me escort you to your car."
"No thanks. You're kinda the sketchy one." You said, slapping his hand away and starting to make your way to your car. Mac just seemed to stand there, stunned and unsure how to react. For the first time, someone rejected him. Was this the start of his end? His demise? Frankly, Mac Tonight thought too much into it. He watched as you hopped in your car and drove off.
