Like Homo Sapiens, native to the Terran System; Cyber Sapiens, native to the Cybertronian system, are prone to their own neurodivergences and conditions. While many might be surprised to hear of this, after all how can a mechanical race have mental health conditions? They are not purely machinery, being comprised of nanites similar to multi-celluar Terran lifeforms.
Today I did an autopsy on the specimen formerly known as Soundblaster, comparing it to neurodrive samples donated by Head Jiuntore Soundwave.
The specimen's coding....was concerning. The coding and neurodrives from Soundblaster had sub-routines and functions eerily similar in Autobot specimens.
Such coding is theorized to drive the Autobot Hives to produce "product". Mecha designed to fit a specific function, to be more appliance then person. Vector Sigma and other computers that drove the Autobot Hive Factories had coding similar to Soundblaster.
But how?
So far, unknown. This alien coding is unlike those found in Cyber Sapiens. Simulations run on nonsentient cyber-derived AI held on quarantined systems, shows this invasive coding to overwrite the AI's original personality routines, driving them to reduce the persona routines to nothing, stripping them to base function. The infected Ai then produces copies of themselves, "virus" included.
Such copies are easily modified and programmable.
It is as though....someone or something produced a virus to overwrite the minds of Cyber Sapiens and to reduce them to nonsentient drones.
This is supported by the histories of Cybertron, derived from the Decepticon faction. In it, Autobots were said to be descendants of those domesticated, from the Insecticon codelines.

It is concerning that Soundblaster's neurodrives held remnants of this virus. Unlike the factory hives of the Autobot forces, the seeker codelines manufacture newbuilds via trinal or more co-creation. Offspring are not designed...but the derivations and remixes of their creators' codes, nanites, and spark energy.
For the specimen to have this coding ensures, that this invasive virus is passed down via the trine creating method.
Samples from Head Jiuntore Soundwave's neurodrives do not have remnants nor traces of this virus. Lord Dr. Starscream speculates that the harsh conditions of the Kanoite Gladiator Pits overwrote the viral coding inherited from Soundblaster. However...zir coding has still been tampered with
However, the Cyber Sapiens known as: Laserbeak, Buzzsaw, Ravage, Frenzy, Rumble, Sundor, and Wingthing, will have to be inspected to ensure none of this viral coding have been passed down. While there is no evidence that Cyber Sapiens hold dormant "genetics" like Terran lifeforms, it is of the utmost priority to ensure their safety.
This viral coding to produce Product, has been labeled "Quintesson Cuckoo" as a working title. Imagine if homo sapiens started giving birth to dolls and androids that wanted to make more of themselves and be sold on the market. Disturbing.
And said dolls were indistinguishable from baseline humanity, except at the very foundational level. This is what has occured to Cyber Sapiens.
It is theorized by Lord Dr. Starscream only because of the objectification and slavery of the Pits that caused Head Jiuntore Soundwave to rebel and overwrite the Cuckoo virus. Lest, their creations be more appliance then children.
While Head Jiuntore Soundwave is free of the Cuckoo virus, more anomalies of zir coding has been found. Munidor Commander Skywarp has donated neurodrives from deceased Voidwing members of the Nemesis and Aegis flocks.
Pre-war samples of Jiuntore, Juni for shorer, models of the Voidwing seeker codeline, has shown that the Juni programming works in cycles. It peaks when the manufacturoing cycle activates, usually once a century in Terran time. Their equivalent of parental subroutines kick in. The need to program and code their young becomes an incessant burning need. Compared to pre-war samples, Head Juntore's Soundwave's Juni programming has never deactivated.
It is theorized by Munidor Commander Skywarp that Soundblaster had intended to reclaim Head Jiuntore Soundwave as a fullframe from the Pits, to bring back zir to the flock and for Head Jiuntore Soundwave to produce a series of Hunter Deployers to be sold to the Pits, as yet another Product line.
It is at this theorizing that Lord Dr. Starscream rolled khyr optics and smirked. I quote, "Megatron of course, fragged those plans."
According to Munidor Commander Skywarp, the Glitchmother condition, is often a threat to flock structure. Unchecked and unrehabilitated, those with errant Jiuntore programming, will view it acceptable to reprogram errant flockmembers into being perfect members of society as they view it.
Munidor Commander Skywarp shiself was a near-victim of a flock run by members with this condition.
It's theorized that the Glitchmother condition is a sign of corruption due to contact with the Cuckoo virus.
It may not be the Cuckoo virus itself, but programming little ones to fall in line with society?
It would be something that the Quints would want.
