A house and a home are two different things
I am a house and I will open a door for you
You who wears grief like a shawl
Will see the miracles I will bring

But, I’m not a house nor a home at the beginning
I am a miracle born from strong desperation
How unfortunate people are
When their last hopes are a miracle

So I give it to all of you…

I opened the windows so you could see
A ray of sun, and feel the wind that clung on skin
And your eyes ever so glisten under the moon
While you call for your husband with longing

Another day and the sun still shined
Another night and the moon’s still the same
This is what your husband decided when he died
His last actions are of bravery and love

Children with uncalloused hands, I let you be
Open the door with your undying curiosity
These are the miracles I give to you
Because you three have lost a father

With a caring heart; to heal the past
With a determined heart; to face the present
With a soft heart; to face the future
And… you see him don’t you?

A home is something made
From a family that is found
And I am your house
That stood on this ground

I hear more than whispers
And my god, look at you
Each of you, looking blue
Telling good lies and not the truth

A flower you grew
With cautious ears
Strong, with responsibility
Shifts and changes
A butterfly set aside
Fleeing with innocence

I feel the cracks in your home
I see the crevice in their faces
Looking from the outside and inside
How did it come to this?

What feels like home is near and distant
Clutching tight that shawl of yours
Mother, do you still remember how to love?
To be a family? Do you understand?

They’re like a constellation
While a butterfly wonders
How many times it should flutter its wings
To reach something beyond the sky

Stars from above, living in pressure
Remember how you used to shine
How you envelope everyone with your radiance
That pierces through the walls

Family, remember what home feels like…

The last miracle I’ll give to you
One you wouldn’t see
One I wouldn’t be
Unless this home is through
Until then,

Fly away little butterfly
I’ll let you go
But do not disappear
But if you do
I’ll open a door for you
And let the winds blow
And guide your wings
Back to your home

Notes:

So... uhm... I suck at writing poetry--I tried my best T^T

I always imagined Casita will speak in riddles or poetry and stuff because why not? lol

But anyways, only one story left I got on my mind and it's about Antonio! If you have any requests feel free to tell me--I'll try to write!

Thank you for reading!
