Chapter Text
Gregory had made it out the fire escape. He looked back to see Freddy about to light the place on fire. "Come on, let's get out of here!"
They ran up the stairs, Gregory far ahead, until at the roof he met Vanny. She grabbed him – what was she going to do now that there was no-
"VANNY! I CAN SEE YOU NOW! I HAVE NEW EYES!" Freddy had arrived, and he was angry. Still, with the three at the rooftop of a burning building and one of them trying to kill the others, this was not safe at all. Freddy took the lead, and... a scream of "FREDDY!!!" was heard from Gregory, as Freddy sacrificed himself to throw Vanny off the building. Freddy managed to get out words of "Goodbye, Gregory!" before hitting the ground. Gregory quickly came down from the roof, to check the damage to the animatronic and the rabbit. He decided to check what was under the bunny costume first...
He had an immediate reaction of surprise upon seeing a young woman with blonde hair and green eyes – Vanessa? – though, after thinking it over for a little while, he's not too stunned. The officer was out to get him all night, and the bunny lady did appear right after Vanessa locked him up in Lost and Found. Either way, he could say good riddance to Vanny. Now, to check on Glamrock Freddy, he was clearly broken and laid out on the floor. Was this repairable? Gregory had to find a way to fix up his dad...has he really been thinking of Freddy as a dad in his head? For how long? That doesn't matter if he's gone for good though, so he had to find a way to fix him.
Inside the Pizzaplex, the animatronics were all dismantled, but Vanny's death had removed her control from them, and the animatronics formerly under her control all automatically rebooted. Chica was the first to wake up, in the sewers, and tried to talk, but only let out some beeps. She then realized her voicebox was gone. She tried to remember what happened during the night, but couldn't remember anything since Freddy collapsed on stage. She hoped he was okay... her thoughts moved on to what could've possibly happened to her voicebox, upgraded not long ago, and decided she would have to have a talk with the other animatronics and get back at the person who did this. However, a notification went off inside her at this moment:
⚠️ SMOKE DETECTED; POSSIBLE FIRE IN THE BUILDING. PLEASE MOVE TO THE 3RD FLOOR FIRE ESCAPE. ⚠️
There was no way she could get there in time, but she remembered the loading dock exit as well. That was by the kitchen – maybe she could grab something to eat while there? She trudged back up into the Pizzaplex and moved towards the loading dock.
Roxy couldn't see anything. She was wondering if she was even awake, but she was thinking, so she had to be? Why couldn't she see? Had her eyes broken? They had just been upgraded, so it was possible, but she needed to get to Parts & Services to get a repair. She was still in her raceway, and decided to go off her internal map to try and navigate back to Parts & Services without the ability to see. She stumbled into a few walls along the way, but when she got back to her green room on Rockstar Row, a notification popped up in her systems:
⚠️ SMOKE DETECTED; POSSIBLE FIRE IN THE BUILDING. PLEASE MOVE TO THE 3RD FLOOR FIRE ESCAPE. ⚠️
There was no way she could make it that far without the ability to see, so she opted for the closest exit, which was the main exit of the building. It was after 6 AM, so the doors would be open at this point.
Monty woke up, in the West Arcade. He got up to walk, but...couldn't? He looked down in horror, as he saw his body had gotten brutally ripped apart over the night. He immediately shouted "I'LL KILL YOU", aimed towards whoever gave him this treatment. He tried to scan his memory banks, but the last thing he remembered was Freddy collapsing on stage, and him thinking "maybe I'll finally get the lead role on the band". How could he forget something like being split in two? And here he was, having forgotte–
⚠️ SMOKE DETECTED; POSSIBLE FIRE IN THE BUILDING. PLEASE MOVE TO THE 3RD FLOOR FIRE ESCAPE. ⚠️
Uh...how was he supposed to move? He tried to squirm for a bit, but didn't get much of anywhere. Desperation filled him, as he could only hope this was a false alarm, but the notifications didn't go off unless there was a serious fire. Maybe it wouldn't reach him?
Sun was heading the Daycare Attendant at the time the notification sounded, so he immediately thought of what to do. He didn't hear Moon in his head, which was strange, but he didn't think too much of it as he fidgeted around in the daycare. If the fire spread to the daycare, it wouldn't be safe, and he didn't have any kids with him right now, so he tapped into his protocols for a fire. At the top of the list was to...let Moon take control? He wondered why, but tried to contact Moon. No response. Well, he'd have to figure out how to get out of here himself, as he stepped outside of the daycare as Sun for the first time he could recall. This would be a cause for great joy!... but instead, a fire was loose in the building, so he had to deal with that; then he could finally explore the rest of the Pizzaplex, assuming it still existed! He wanted to make sure nobody was hurt, so he wandered throughout the building before escaping, until Moon finally made a noise in his head. Why am I not in control with the fire alarm sounded?, Moon asked, grumpily. You weren't responding to my pings, Sun supplied, before letting Moon take over control.
