Chapter Text
He wasn’t sure why he couldn’t say it, mentally or out loud.
It happened. He knew it happened. He was there for it. He remembered every bit of it, from the beginning all the way to the end. He remembered, no matter how hard he tried to ignore it, he remembered it.
But he just… couldn’t admit it to himself.
A part of him didn’t want to say it all. He knew it happened, so that was enough, right? There was no need to acknowledge it in that way. It was better to keep it hidden in the back of his mind, that way the flashes only happened once in a while. Nothing he couldn’t handle at this point.
But, sometimes, whenever he thought back, years back, he regretted never saying anything.
