She felt it in every fiber of her slender body: mating time. Finally! The last time was far too long ago ... what was the last partner's name ... Jeff, Greg? It was hard to remember. He had been sweet, yes, she could remember that.
His scent was already in the air before she could see him, and the vibration of the threads of her nest announced his arrival. There was no need of much romance in their world. Mother Nature took over and soon they were lying satisfied in their many arms.
"Okay, then ... thanks and bye!" he said, trying to break loose from her embrace.
"... hey, wait ...", she purred and he heard the threatening growl of her stomach. He knew he shouldn’t make any hectic movements now, he would have to keep calm.
"It was really nice, but ..." It was as if her grip eased briefly and his survival instinct made him careless. A hasty movement from him and she grabbed him and bit him hard.
Full and satisfied she sighed. What an eventful day. What had his name been... Toby? She couldn’t remember, but she remind one thing: he’d been spicy.
