Maria knows that she has to do something, otherwise her Daddy will be taken away by another woman. What's even worse is that this woman may become her new mother. No. She cannot let this happen. Daddy belongs to her only.
Although David is not her real father at all, what he did for her is overweight more than a real father would ever do. He gives her so much care and love that she does not feel lonely , even though her mother is not here anymore. She is so spoiled by David, as when he notices that she was bullied and harassed in the school, he tells her that she can drop the school if she wants.
“If you are not happy in the school, then don’t go to the school anymore.” He says gently and strokes her back softly after she cried hard in his arms. “ I can hire teachers to teach you personally ,if you want to keep learning. Or you can just stay at home with Daddy. Daddy can take care of you well.”
As her father loves her and treats her so well, plus that her father is handsome and strong, it is not her fault to fall in love with her own stepfather. After all, he is not her biological father , right? This cannot be called as incest so it is totally fine. Maria convinces herself after she notices her real feelings towards David.
But she doesn't know how David thinks. She is so afraid that David will feel disgusted and thus not love her and care for her anymore. Therefore, she keeps her feelings deep in her heart. Even though she is already over 18 years old, she still does not have the courage to tell David. It is enough for her if David keeps loving and caring for her like now.
However, Maria starts to worry , since she notices David starts to date other women. Although David never tells her about that, or brings them home, Maria can still notice that from his white shirt with the mark of lipstick, and the smell of unfamiliar perfume on his clothes.
This makes Maria sad and feel worried. Her heart breaks when she imagines how other women approach her Daddy. Even worse, one of them may become her new mother, and have babies with David, No. She cannot let that happen. She has to do something, to keep her Daddy. She is determined to confess her true feelings to him. Even though David refuses her, at least she has tried.
And today is the day. She knows that David will arrive home early today. She cooks dinner today with all the dishes that David loves to eat. And she also wears a beautiful soft pink dress which David once praised before.

“Welcome home!! Daddy!!!” Maria rushes to David happily once he steps into home. She hugs him happily and David smiles back to her.
“Thank you, my princess.” He says and he places a soft kiss on her cheek. “You look so beautiful today.” Maria cannot help but blush at his praise. “Does my princess have a good day?” he asks her gently.
“Yes, Daddy.” Maria replies with a smile.” And I made dinner for you today.” With that, she leads David to the dining table to sit down. Maids bring out dishes once they sit down.
“Is the food okay?” Maria asks nervously as she sees David eat the pasta. “It is far more than okay.” David smiles at her and Maria feels her heart pounding fast.” It is delicious, you are as good as professional chefs.” Maria smiles shyly in return.
Although David praised her cooking, Maria starts to feel more and more nervous while the dinner continues. She knows that she has to tell David that she loves him, not as a daughter but as a woman. However, she doesn't know how to put it into words. She hates herself for being so weak. She will lose her father eventually if she keeps like that, however, she does not know what to do.
As Maria is so consumed by her own thoughts, she does not notice David observes her closely, especially after she suddenly becomes quiet. He frowns as he sees her forming tears in her eyes.
“What happens?” David says worriedly, and this shocks Maria a little bit as she is so consumed by her own thoughts.” Did those guys bully you again?” David asks worriedly.
“No, Daddy… I am fine…” Maria says and avoids having eye contact with David, as she does not know how to explain. She suddenly feels the whole thing is stupid. She regrets her attempts to tell him that she loves him. It is wrong. She should accept that David dates and marries another woman. She wants to run away and goes back to her room now, so that she can curl into the ball and cry, accepting her destiny.
“No, you are not fine.” However, David insists and holds her hands tightly. “ Tell Daddy what happened.” He says firmly and grabs her chin to make her look into his eyes.
“Daddy, I…” Maria cannot help but start to sob. Then she closes her eyes for a while and takes a deep breath. She knows that she cannot escape now, since David can see through her lies easily. He knows her so well. So she decides to tell the truth.
“I… I want to tell you that I love you…” She looks into his eyes and says quietly, although David can still hear her. “ Not as a daughter, but as a woman… I am afraid that you don’t want me as a woman, but I am also afraid that if I don’t say it, you will be taken away by another woman…” Then, Maria cannot help but cry .” I am so sorry, Daddy… But please don’t leave me…”
“Ssh… it is fine… it is all fine…” Seeing Maria cry like that makes David’s heart break. He pulls Maria in his arms and strokes her back to comfort her. “Daddy is so glad that you tell me.”
“Really?” Maria raises her head and asks. Her tears are still falling down. “Don’t you think that I am disgusting?”
“Daddy will never think you are disgusting. You are always beautiful and sweet, and perfect in my heart.” David strokes her face and wipes away her tears.” And Daddy also loves you too.” he whispers to her ear softly.
“As a woman?” Maria asks nervously. “Yes, as a woman.” David answers her firmly. “Sorry I did not tell you about that.” He says then he sighs.” I don’t want to scare you away.”
“Then…what about the woman?” Maria asks carefully as she looks into David's eyes, who looks embarrassed now.
“Umm…” David hesitates but he decides to tell her the truth” Those women are just for my sexual needs. Daddy does not love them at all.”
“Then… if I take care of your sexual needs, can Daddy stop finding them?” Maria asks quietly. She can feel the hotness of her face while she asks.
“Even if you don’t take care of my sexual needs, Daddy will not find them anymore.” He says to her firmly while looking into her eyes.”Because Daddy has you now. I love you, Maria.” He says to her firmly while holding her hand tightly.
“I love you too…David…” Maria says shyly as she calls his name instead of calling him Daddy.
“Okay, let’s finish the dinner first. You have put so much effort into it, and Daddy wants to enjoy every bite of it.” David says.
Maria nods happily and they continue the dinner. At this moment, she feels that she is the happiest girl in the world.
