Bruce rested his head on Clark's chest, looking up at the ceiling as the moon's silver rays danced through the window. Clark hugged Bruce close to him, kissing his messy hair, and Bruce couldn't hide his smile.
"I can't believe we're graduating tomorrow," Bruce whispered.
"I know," Clark said, an excited smile on his face. "I couldn't have done it without you."
"You're selling yourself short," Bruce said. "You're smarter than you give yourself credit for."
"Yeah," Clark said, "but if I didn't have a certain hot tutor helping me through precalc, I wouldn't have been able to pass."
"Shut up," Bruce joked.
"Make me," Clark teased. Bruce turned his head to kiss Clark, and Clark chuckled into the kiss.
"Mmm, I love you," Clark said. Bruce went in for another kiss.
"I know," Bruce smirked. He lay his head back down on Clark's chest, running his hand down one of Clark's pecs, his fingers lightly trailing over one of the faded scars beneath his chest, moving down towards Clark's defined abs.
"I got lucky with you," Bruce said softly.
"I think we both got lucky," Clark said. Bruce hummed and wrapped his arm around Clark. The two lay there in silence for a minute, Bruce listening to Clark's slow heartbeat, Clark squeezing Bruce closer to him.
"Hey Clark?" Bruce said. "Do you think we'll stay together after... you know-"
"Yes," Clark said quickly, not a hint of uncertainty in his voice.
"We'll have to be long distance," Bruce said somberly.
"Not necessarily," Clark said. "I can always try to fly over if you want."
"You don't have to," Bruce said. Clark ruffled Bruce's hair, and Bruce tried swatting his hand away.
"I know I don't have to," Clark said with a smirk.
"You might get caught," Bruce said.
"Bruce," Clark said, his tone growing more serious, "I know what I'm doing. and I want us to stay together. I want more of this in the future. You know I'd do anything for you."
"I know," Bruce said. "I just... I just want you to be careful."
"When am I not?" Clark asked, feigning innocence.
"You flew me around the football field last night, and we almost got caught by your coach," Bruce said point blank.
"Almost," Clark emphasized with a sly grin. "I knew what I was doing."
Bruce rolled his eyes and hit Clark's chest. Clark laughed and kissed Bruce's head again.
"Clark," Bruce said, "you said you'd do anything for me, right?"
"What do you have in mind?" Clark asked. Bruce climbed on top of Clark, kissing him more passionately this time.
"Round two?" Clark asked in between kisses.
"Please," Bruce rasped out. Clark grinned widely and pulled Bruce in for another kiss. Bruce felt his heart flutter, and he silently prayed to God, to Clark that this night wouldn't end.
But for as fleeting as it was, this night belonged to them, and Bruce was determined to make every moment count.
