Unconventional Roadmap

Summary:

After the threat of petrification is somewhat resolved and the time machine is being built easily, Senkuu takes a well deserved break, without the stress of having a civilization on his shoulders, his mind is open to new thoughts, new ideas.

The serotonin spikes, the dopamine is higher than ever.

He is in love, for he is still a teenager, after all.

Not dropping the scientific method for a second, he decides that, if his brain wants to push him towards love, it will be on his terms, he will practice love the scientific way.

Notes:

I'll set the scenario first, from second chapter onwards, i'll start writing romance.

Chapter 1: No Work

Chapter Text

Ishigami Senkuu's experiment: Romance

Introduction

4:30 AM, having just enough rest to function as a human being, Senkuu decides to rush as much work on the time machine as possible, dressing up in a hybrid caveman-scientist style, reminiscent of the old days, he will finish at least two parts of his roadmap.

"The time machine is going according to plan, I suppose my companions wouldn't mind if I step in and work to make the semiconductors before them...oh..."

One important thing to notice is that the new civilization bases it's entire existence on science, the scientific community, method and process. Senkuu, in his near infinite intelligence, was planning ahead, thinking that he would be the first to arrive to work and the first to work, but when your entire existence is science, you can't help but get a little excited on the process of making science.

His coworkers had arrived some minutes before him, the entire team was already set up and prepared to make use of the semiconductors.

"Good morning, Sir."

"Good morning, glad to see we're already making progress."

" More than progress, sir. The compact transistor that we are planning is close to being invented."

"Ten billion points for all of you, in no time we'll be able to have computers with similar power to those before the petrification."

"I have never seen Dr Xeno this excited, sir. He decided to work on the creation and manufacturing of the transistor itself, after he's done, we will begin mass production."

"Well, great to hear that. I'll go assist him and get the job done quickly."

"About that, sir..."

" What's the matter? "

"He told me to not let no one enter his laboratory, because, in his words "He wanted to make the most elegant supercomputer" and "To impress his former student", I suppose that means you, sir."

"Hah...hahah...HAS HE GONE MAD AGAIN?!"

" I guess sometimes people feel a little "rusty", and decide to show the world that they still have some capacity in them."

" Fine...fine...I'll go to RnD and finish the Light Speed Motor. "

"The Light Speed Motor is finished, sir."

"Come on, you know you can't leave me without something to do, let's prepare an airplane and go mine the steel and cobalt."

" There is an expedi- "

"Don't tell me more, I guess I'm in...good hands and can take a rest."

"Ten billion percent correct, sir."

" Very funny."

And that's the scenario, Senkuu has to take a break, he has to rest, not because he is sick or hurt, not because he is in danger of dying or because the stone world is too harsh, hell, there is barely any stone world anymore, he is just victim of a phenomenon everyone would die to experiment: Having a too competent team.

With that in mind, Senkuu decides to go home to prepare for a trip, all by himself, he won't let such trivial measures such as having no work get in the way of a good working day.

What will think in his home will not be about work, nor materials nor minerals nor anything related to that field of science.
