Chapter Text
They found him wandering the alleyways. Now, this usually wouldn’t be a strange place to find a villian, even one of his caliber. What was odd was the lost look on his face. Walking like a baby deer, like someone who had just figured out how to put their legs under them. Reportedly he was leaning against the wall, all four of his legs trembling. A Civilian was the one to find him, an entire team of heroes arriving on the scene soon after. The heroes leading the team, Double Edge, had immediately called it in, one going to brief the committee and the other examining the stumbling villain.
The heroes rested atop a building, watching the rather pathetic display. Now, The Monster would usually realize that he was being watched by now. Would have turned to them with glinting eyes and proclaim his superiority, now he just looked mildly ill. They laid in wait for Double to arrive, waiting for both sides of the team to arrive before moving.
Thankfully, they did not have to wait long for the more level headed end of the team to arrive. Double landed next to Edge, the twins speaking silently to each other, planning. Edge gestured for the other heroes to start surrounding The Monster.
They slipped from their roof tops and advanced towards their target. One of The Monsters ears twitched, noticing their arrival. As they surrounded him, he looked up and tripped backwards, his back paws getting in the way of his front ones. Landing in a rather ungraceful heap of limbs. One of the newbie Heroes screamed when the Villain made a groaning noise from the ground. Edge poked the villain with his sword. The only reaction the action caused was another faint groan from the villian.
With the lack of reaction and the honestly worrying state of the man (His hair was somehow more rumpled, not to mention he was only wearing one shoe.) Caused Double to believe that the best course of action would be to bring the villain to the med bay. This was a wildly controversial take, the rest of the team turning to yell at him, proclaiming his idea to be terrible. Though Edge supported Double’s idea, maybe it was a twin thing.
Eventually though, as the leaders of the patrol, they did have final say. Edge approached the fallen villain, declaring that they would be taking them to the hero tower.
The Monster didn’t move.
When trying to get the villian to his feet, all the villian did was try to curl upon himself more. The position was starting to look uncomfortable. Edge expressed that opinion, loudly, then poked him with his sword again. The Monster flinched and made a high pitched whining noise.
They didn’t know that he could make that noise.
Eventually the Heroes decided the easiest way to transport the villain would be to simply pick him up. This was also more difficult than imagined, the man was quite heavy. He had many limbs. Eventually, it was decided that they would call a vehicle into the alleyway. And just drag him into the back.
