Autumn was Vex’s favourite season by far with the leaves that danced in the wind. Her element. The wind caressed her face and ruffled her hair. The breeze whispering into her ear “It’s nearly time. Are you ready, Suncursed?”. “Yes I’m ready in fact ready as I’ll ever be.” I have to make sure Xavon survives along Zedal. It was always inevitable this would happen it was only a matter of time before the children would escape. So she’ll help, discreetly at least.
“Madam Vex, it’s time for your talk with Xavon.”
“Thank you, now leave.”
“Of course madam.”
After walking for a bit in the headache inducing white corridors the shapeshifter arrived at Xavon’s room. Now keeping track of how much time was left. The shifter looked at the child in front of her.
“You know Xavon we found out about your little plan. So now let’s talk about what you will do if you escape?” 1 minute left.
“Get the hell out of here! Get to live our lives! See the outside world.”
“You know I’ll miss you when you go. I’m sorry I couldn’t do anything to help any of you more. However take this necklace it’ll protect the wearer from all harm.” 10 seconds left. Walking towards him she gave away her necklace and the clone into a warm embrace. Turning the clone the opposite direction of the explosion will come from. Counting in her head 5…4…3…2…1…0.
