The aircraft took them to an open grassland with a S.H.I.E.L.D helicarrier on sight.
"We're finally going home." Steve said looking at two S.H.I.E.L.D agents at the door of the helicarrier.
As the aircraft landed they all went out and the Wakanda pilots didn't even waste time before flying off.
"Those people form that backward planet." Wanda scoffs red mist slightly forming at the outer corner of her eyes, "They didn't even wait to see if we're onboard safely."
"Don't read much into this. We're finally home and I can't wait to see my wife and kids." Clint said.
"Gentlemen, ladies. We're living in two." One of the agents said to them as they went and bordered the helicarrier living only the rogues outside.
"Hey! Why don't you carry our bags?!" Natasha called out. "Did you expect us to carry them ourselves, what happened to seniority?"
The two retreating agents looked at each other as one texted on his phone and they both nodded at each other before entering.
"I wonder why Fury would let these disrespectful folks work with S.H.I.E.L.D." Steve said looking displeased.
"Unless you want to be left out in the wilderness and get eaten by whatever creatures residing here, then you're all more than welcome on staying out here as we leave." A voice said and the person came out revealing Coulson. He didn't look happy nor angry or in fact didn't show any emotion.
"Phil!" Clint was the one who jumped up and went to hug the man when Phil moved a step back creating space between him and Clint.
The helicarrier's engine started and the rogues were quick to grab their small bags and ran inside. "It's agent Coulson or Mr Coulson for you guys. Follow me." Phil said and went further inside not waiting to check if they followed him or not.
As they followed after Coulson the rogues noticed that the people who saw them didn't even spare a second glance other agents didn't even hide their displeasure towards the them.
"Phil wha-" "It's agent Coulson or Mr Coulson." Phil interrupted Rogers and didn't even stop to speak and instead increased his pace.
Before Steve can even try to talk to him they arrived at an office that had a big round table. Coulson went to a small desk and took out a package from the drawer. He placed the package on the table and opened it to reveal necklaces, each that held a clear gem.
"Wear these and let them directly touch your chest." Phil instructed as he handed them out and not giving Wanda. "Ph- agent Coulson, what's all this?" Clint said feeling crushed that the man was ignoring him.
"Wear these the way I told you, and don't talk about it until I say so. After doing that then we may talk."
After seeing that they followed his instructions Coulson said down and took out a burner phone texted someone and waited. Not even addressing the rogues.
After about five minutes Nick Fury came in and took the seat besides Coulson. Fury held a stack of papers and passed them around the rogues at the table.
"Director what's this?!" Steve was the first to voice out his displeasure at what he has seen.
"Are you blind or are you simply illiterate Rogers." Fury responded clearly annoyed.
"They are charging us." Sam said disbelief evident in his voice.
"But why? And for what? We were helping Barnes." Scott said skimming through the documents.
"And it says here Stark is a witnesses and a victim.This is all Stark's fault." Wanda said.
All the rogue felt the temperature change with their necklaces and two of them felt a cold sensation. They all kept quite not voicing it out. Since the necklaces was underneath their clothes they didn't see that some turned a fire orange and two turned ice blue.
"They can't arrest us, the world needs us." Natasha said and sounded like some spoilt brat.
"The world doesn't need you. Especially you six." Coulson shout back.
"Did Stark put you to this? Of course he did this is because of him!" Wanda said her hands glowing red underneath the table where she kept them.
"Was Stark the one that made you throw Vision down 17 floors?" Fury shot back.
"Wanda made a mistake. She didn't mean to." Steve said with that 'I am right and don't argue with me' voice.
"So if I accidently collide into you on the street that gives you the right to what? Punch me in the face and make me spend the next six months in a coma having to spend another six months on recovery?" Coulson asked.
"That's not the sa-" "Answer Me!" Coulson shouted at him.
"No sir." Rogers fully conceded although hesitantly.
"Good, now Miss Maximoff I wanna ask you something. And you better be honest with me. Did you or did you not fully and willing join Hydra?"
"Hydra, you said she was a prisoner there." Sam said bewildered.
"Hydra?! No one told me she was involved with Hydra except for Barnes." Scott said looking around in confusion.
"What the hell Rogers, you said you're going to tell him yourself." Sam was visibly getting angry.
"I was, but I guess it slipped my mind when everything went downhill." Rogers defended himself.
"Yeah right. Not tell the man who blindly followed you and left his girlfriend and daughter behind for our cause." Clint scoffed feeling betrayed as he also had to leave his wife and kids.
"Miss Maximoff." Coulson interrupted their squabble as he brought back attention to the witch.
All eyes were on her. Steve looked a second away to intervene, but a sharp glare from Natasha shut him up. Wanda began shedding a few tears and sending glances towards Steve.
"Wanda you don't hav-" "You don't have to make that call Rogers." Fury stopped him.
"The girl is clearly distressed. You can't expect her to relieve her trauma." Natasha spoke up for her.
"Miss Maximoff I asked a question." Coulson ignored them looking straight into the witch.
"I- I- I didn't want to. They forced me and my brother to work for them. The- there were others, but my brother and I were the ones lucky enough to survive. They- they made me do things I didn't want to do I swear." Wanda began crying creating a pitiful show.
"Wanda was clearly a child, she couldn't have willingly joined Hydra." Steve really liked defending the witch.
Fury clapped his hands as he laughed menacingly. "Well let me take you to a field trip down memory lane."
The lights dimmed and a projector appeared and a security footage began playing.
It was a young Wanda and Pietro. The flag on the wall showed that it was Hydra, because of the symbol on it. 'Wanda I don't think I wanna do this.' Pietro said looking very shaken up. 'Brother this is our time to show all those who had looked down on us to not mess with us again. Then I can avenge my parents murder and no one will look down on us' Wanda on screen had a maniacal expression very much contradicting the pitiful sob story she said. 'We don't even know who these people are.' Pietro said sounding scared. 'Pietro. Hydra is a secret Russian organisation and they are rivals with America. They are a terrorist group, but one of the best terrorist groups. When we get our powers we may be able to do anything we want and Stark will finally pay for our parents murder.' 'Are we even eligible to sign these documents?' 'I'm already 18 and you're under my care, so as your guardian I can assure you this is our best shot.'
The lights came back on and the rogues were shocked. Wanda was clearly a psychopath filled with anger and vengeance.
Steve looked constipated as he was always defending her. Even when they found her. He didn't even check to see if her story was true, he believed her on her word.
"Now Rogers you understand why you're also being tried by actively allowing harm to happen on one of your former teammates, Iron Man." Coulson said as he actively showed his disgust towards Wanda.
"Anyone here has any question about what they're being charged." Fury asked them.
"How can Laura divorce me?" Clint asked suddenly and that piques Natasha's interest.
"Divorce on absentia. Laura has full custody on the kids and a restraining order against you. You decide to follow a man who lied to everyone here and a witch who's a cold blooded murderer." Fury dropped the first bomb.
"All the other crimes is because you were all accomplices. Wilson you stole Stark technology and injured Colonel Rhodes. And also are getting a dishonourable discharge. Also I don't remeber seeing S.H.I.E.L.D records of you being being a S.H.I.E.L.D agent, unless you were a vigilante. Vigilantism is a crime so you were gonna answer for that." Coulson dropped the second bomb.
"If Rogers could tell us what happened in Siberia. Would you mind sharing with the class? Or a field trip down memory lane will be great?" Fury said with a smirk on his face holding a small remote.
"Him and Stark fought, he already told us." Wanda said thinking everyone had forgotten about her lies.
"Well the details of the fight please. Maybe Barnes will supply us with some answers." After Fury said that everyone looked at Barnes who was quiet all along.
"Steve and Stark fought. During a mission for Hydra, I was sent to kill Howard. Stark saw a video of that and attacked even tearing out my arm. Steven fought him, because everything was hazy I don't really remeber much, but Steve came back and told me Stark will be fine. And they resolved things." The man spoke for the first time.
"Bucky you didn't do that, Hydra brainwashed you. It was out of your control." Steve said as held Barnes arm.
Barnes ripped his arm off and refused to look at Steve. "Something happened to Stark." He stated addressing both Fury and Coulson.
"You have great observation skills. Since Steve is an old man and can't remeber much, will provide some video evidence." Coulson said mirth dancing in his eyes.
The video was hazy and had no audio. The clip futured Stark attacking Barnes and ripping the roboticarm off in the process. Rogers stepped in and fought Stark. They continued for a while till Steve smashed his shield into Stark's chest destroying the Arc reactor further crushing the suit into Stark. Stark said something and Steve responded before living him there to die.
"Not only did you withhold information about his parents death. You used his resources to find the killer behind his back. Attacking his chest knowing full when that his chest is already compromised and didn't even bother calling for help." Coulsin said anger evelident in his voice.
"You said you will tell Stark." Natasha said breaking the silence.
"Nat I needed time." Steve pleaded.
"You had two fucking years. Maybe if you told him earlier and explained the situation clearly none of this would have happened." Natasha hissed as she glared at him.
"I didn't know how!" Rogers retorted.
"Then I could have told him. And when I asked you if you did you had fucking lied to me and said you did, but mustn't mention it hence he might feel sad." Natasha was clearly seething.
"That's fucked up man. Not only did you lie, you used his money to find the same person that killed his parents. And you what? You expected to be forgiven and everyone accepts you with open arms?" Scott stood up and Clint was fast to hold him down, but missed when Sam was already throwing a punch at Rogers. Bucky was quick to hold down Steve as Natasha held Sam.
"How dare punch Captain America!" Rogers asked and had the audacity to look scandalised.
"Captain America can Eat Shit. Who do you think you are. I believed in you. I chose your side thinking that Captain America can never be wrong, but you proved me wrong. Were the Accords really that bad in the way you made them to be or you didn't want to follow orders." Sam said trying to break free wanting to punch him a second time.
"Is that what Captain America teaches? Not to follow orders from your superiors. I mean I'm not surprised. You did hijack a plane back in the day to free some soldiers." Coulson said adding fuel to the fire.
"No one got hurt." Rogers protested.
"Then God bless your luck. Did you think about the others? Did you think what will happen had you failed or if someone got killed? No you didn't because James Bucky Barnes was one of the soldiers! As long as he was safe everyone else could just go fuck off and die!"
"You're a fucking liar and a mistake of a person. You're not a leader you're a damn hypocrite. Funny how you always said Stark was brash, you seem to forget your days at the military. I don't even think you deserve the title Captain. You never finished your training nor have you been registered. You were just a face that everyone used for sales!"
"Clint!" Natasha said to him.
"What?! It's the truth. I left my family believing in him. And what do I get? That I followed the wrong person who constantly lied to us and I'll never see my family again. For what?" Clint screamed at her.
"Hahaha haha." The laugh from Fury drew everyone in. They looked at him mostly confusion and suspicion. "Well look at all of you. Playing the blaming game. I could do it too. You all committed crimes in 115 countries including the USA. Those countries will all sentence you for your crimes."
"What about Bucky? He didn't do anything." Steve called out.
"Barnes was not always under Hydra's control. He knew that the safest place is away Hydra, but he still resisted arrest and caused serious damages. Collateral damage is what most countries are pushing for. Maybe you can explain to the court on why hundreds of people had to die when you where 'helping' them." Coulson said whilst him and Fury stood up preparing to leave.
"Ohh another thing make sure to read these papers carefully and thoroughly. On the cabinet there are some devices which can help simplify stuff you don't understand. The original copy of the Accords is with your papers and also the one Stark had modified for all of you. And don't ever believe what Rogers says, he didn't finish school nor graduated. Who knows if he fully understands the political terms. And Miss Maximoff, the bomb that went off said STARK. All Stark weapons had STARK INDUSTRIES on them. That was a knock off brand. Even if it was original, Stark did not fire the weapons." Coulson said.
"If you may now look at your necklaces. We actually have a friend who happens to be a magician. These necklaces will protect you if any magical entities attack you including mind control. If it glows a fire orange someone is actively trying to influence your mind and if it is ice blue, someone already influenced you're mind, but they can't go further than what they've already done before."
Fury and Coulson left the office and the rogues took out their necklaces to look at them. Some gasp in disbelief as others couldn't even make a sound. All their necklaces where glowing a fire orange color expect for Barnes and Rogers. Theirs were an ice blue. They all looked at Wanda who backed up.
<span;>"You messed with Bucky's mind." Steve said. "Who cares about Barnes, she messed with your mind too. FUCK!" Clint cursed.
Rogers slapped Wanda and she stumbled backwards.
"Well one thing I know is true. You only care about Barnes and no one else. You will do anything for Barnes every commiting murder. Go Fuck yourself Steve Rogers!"
Wanda laughed maniacally as Rogers rained down punches on her and no one stopped him. It wasn't until a couple of agents got in and handcuffed them and they were placed on separate cells to wait their trial.
Wanda figured out that everyone at S.H.I.E.L.D had the necklace and nothing could happen to them.
